It's sometimes easy to forget just how low the bar for player acquisition has been set. I often think that Matt Millen has that record, with Danny Snyderbrenner being a close second.
But I shouldn't forget about the perpetual suck in places like Buffalo, Cleveland, NY Jets, and many other teams over the years.
However, Spielman has to be considered at least Matt Millen-bad at this point. Maybe worse considering the amount of dollars spent.

I hope he stays another 20 years!

Some Vikings fans are still convinced that trade wasn't that bad - until the Cowboys started trading, cutting and limiting the snaps of all those players to turn those picks into higher round picks. As if that wasn't the plan from the second the trade happened.

Rubes.

The Vikings handed the Cokeboys 3 Super Bowl championships with that trade.

Absolute effing A-Holes.

I've noticed Gutey seems to squeeze more value out of his trades than Uncle TT did.

I was a little miffed at TT for only getting a 3rd rounder for Favre but as it turned out, old Uncle TT used that pick to trade up & get Clay. Win some lose some.

Only Stoooooopid Viking fans would think the HW deal was a "good trade" for them.

Well, viking fans are feeling their oats and getting their cock on after their big win today. Let's see how long this lasts..............

They are staaaacked for at least another week.

Viking fans really whooping it up. They never learn.

Tell them to worry about not having a 3rd loss in the division. I'm rooting for the Lions next week. I don't believe any team has won a division with 3 or more losses in that division.

Maybe the 7-9 Seahawks that one year? I'll have to look that up.

Viking fans....you hate us, don't you....it's ok, we know. Don't worry....even the SF sports news was crying about "egregious calls" on the Lions. Yeah they don't want the Packers to win either -- their precious Niners haven't been undefeated to open a season in 2 decades & they don't want to share the spotlight of 5 wins -- suck it!

Good luck with the Lions!

Detroit is a few plays away from being 5-0 right now.   I came away really impressed with how their defense played and they have some talent on offense.

The Lions play like the Lovie Smith Bears on D.   They don’t blitz and drop a bunch of  guys into coverage.   If they can generate a rush up front they should give MN some problems.

The difference between DET min CHI is the QB.  Stafford is better than the other two.

Funny thing I just realized is everyone in the NFCN can play D now.  When is the last time that was true?

Vikes are already screwed. No one has won the NFC North with more than ONE loss in the division.

While the packers are getting bailed on on every call they got to start the years with 5 home games in the first 7 weeks.

One of them was week 1. Then they get 10 days off before 3 straight home games. Then they finally get another road game. But 10 days off before it. Then They get 8 days off before 2 more home games in a row.

Couldn't ask for a better schedule for a rookie headcoach.

They somehow forget the fact that the Packers have to be on the road later in the year when the division is decided.

Reading their posts is like listening to 2 4th graders discussing their marble collections.

Look at what this moron posted.....

Or this one, which would have put the Packers in position to win the game:

Hey,YOU GET OUT OF HERE WITH YOUR LOGIC AND COUNTERPOINT! VIKING FANS WILL PARTICIPATE IN THE BIRDBOX CHALLENGE AND PRETEND THEY DIDN'T SEE THIS TO FIT THEIR BULLSHIT NARRATIVE.
Need a video. The WR could have ran into the CB. We just don't know without a video.

I wonder what the Vikings record would be with Bridgewater at QB?  And what would they have done with all that money?  I wish Nutsack or Jaymo were still around to splain this to me.

Coworker mentioned Anthony Barr had another cheap shot to a Qb.  He said he hit Staford in the head after the pass was long gone. After what he did to Aaron, any personal foul on him should be an auto ejection.

Frankie.

I’m sorry to report that you and Y.A. Tittle have been traded to Rubechat for a six pack of Schmidt Beer and 2 Robert Zimmerman 45’s.

fragging? That's what we used to do to the monsters in the video game Doom

Zimmer = Tick Tock Tick Tock Tick Tock -- Just wait & see
