Mack has supposedly been playing at another level, from what I've read. I hope he breaks a sack record vs the vikings

Yeps sir,   there going to need all of Mack today,  Nichols, and Hicks are likely out.           Thats 2 of 3 starting DL.    Then again Cousins on the road  not in his DNA.   Im not sure if this matters today, but Bears travel to Enland  next week, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

4-12  Hey Jaymo, since you're spending so much time in the basement, how's about fixing that leaky sewer pipe?

Gotta disagree about wanting the 4-12, I'd rather it be a solid 8-8 this season.

Pressure will be on Spielman (if he's still there) to draft a QB in round 1 next spring and I want him reaching for his next Ponder.

Then in 2020 they can go 4-12 and draft their next Matt Kalil to protect for Ponder II.

Lots and lots of calls among the Purple faithful for Zim to be gone and when he is that aging D will immediately disintegrate.

Just a delicious start to the season in Minnesota.

Absolutely! Lip smacking good! And for the viking fans' talk of firing Spielman, well, I hope he gets an extension. The vikings wouldn't be the vikings we know today, without him. I love  that they brought back Treadwell, too! Zim getting outsmarted by Nagy on the 4th down play where Zim had to burn a time out due to 12 vikings being on the field.  One thing about the Bears, in this game, is that they showed that they can tackle and defend both the run and the pass, very well. All while they were missing some starters on the D Line. Daniel was also a competent back up at QB, for this game. We'll see how he does in the future against better teams. For now, the vikings are alone in the cellar of the NFC North and 0-2 in divisional games! I'm ecstatic!

Love this article.

Next week they visit Danny Dimes before hosting the Eagles and then traveling to Detroit. Then they get the Washington Professional Football Team before traveling to Kansas City to get their dicks kicked in before traveling to Dallas to get their dicks ripped out and kicked back in yet again. After the bye? Oh only at Seattle, home vs. Detroit, at the Chargers, before finishing at home for Green Bay and Chicago. Which is all just a long winded version of saying this quarterback is wasting a great defense, elite receiving corp and top three running back.

CHI offense seemed a lot more efficient with Daniel at Q.  I think they'll take their time getting Trubisky back on the field.  Nooooo rush.

Zimmererer could be on the hot seat.

"Mr. McCarthy, Mr. Spielman on line 1."

What should really concern Minnesota is Cuzzsins is now 4-27 against winning teams.  Think about that.  It basically means you only have less than a 15% chance to beat a good team with him at QB.

No wonder guys like Thielen and Diggs are ticked.

MN got fooled into thinking Cousins was better than he was. They never realized that Cousins never elevated the team around him into playing better. And now, Cousins' confidence has to be cracking since everyone, even Thielen, is pointing out what everyone else already knew -- he's a mediocre QB.

His line and the playcalling didn't do him any favors yesterday in that they never adjusted to get the ball out a whole lot faster or use misdirection to slow down the Bears. Instead, the Bears just teed off the entire game. It was the best three hours of TV I've watched in a loooong time!!!

Thielen and Diggs can be ticked all they want, but in the end Diggs is an idot that cost his team in at least two games -- the 15-yard penalty after the TD against GB and yesterday with the fumble. Thielen was targeted six times yesterday and caught two balls for six(!) yards. Yesterday, Diggs was targeted seven times and caught seven for 108 -- what is he complaining about? He was the one who got the ball stripped!

And they tampered with him to get him. Releasing what they were going to offer him even before the negotiation period.

Thielen yes. Diggs, not so much.  Call me racist.

I'd like to see Thielen in GB colors...when is his contract up?

EDIT: looks like he is signed thru 2024....oh well...

What exactly what Cousins supposed to do yesterday when receivers weren't open and the Bare defense was in his jock 2 seconds after the snap?

Get sacked...a lot...which is a good thing.

“At some point, you're not going to be able to run the ball for 180 yards, even with the best running back in the NFL. That's when you have to be able to throw the ball. ... You have to be able to hit the deep balls." - Adam Thielen after yesterday’s game.

This reminded me of a tweet that dipsh!t Skippy made yesterday.  Referring to Brady's difficult game yesterday, ol' Skippy tweeted:

Pats can't protect him, can't get open quickly enough.

So as long as Brady has time to throw and/or his WRs can get open, then he's really, really good.  Am I inferring this correctly Skip?
