wants a trade alright - malcontent
it just never ends

The Associated Press reports that Harvin has requested a trade from the Vikings. However, the report says the Vikings don’t expect to grant that request because the team still views Harvin as one of its most talented players, despite the occasional headaches (literal and figurative) that his presence brings.

...

Ultimately, it seems likely that Harvin will play this season in Minnesota, and will do so under his current contract. And will remain unhappy.
Harvin truly is a Moss protege. He wants out of Minny, whines, basically plays when he wants to play (migraines now gone after Coach Kick Ass left), and is talented as heck. Unlike Moss, Harvin seems to have a nick all the time or at least whines about one that keeps him from playing in every game or up to his potential. There's no way the Queens trade him; trades with players of that magnitude just don't happen. I can't see even the Queens letting go of one of the few talented guys they have. As for redoing his contract, well... let's see if Zigi opens that checkbook now that he's flush with a new stadium.
If Harvin hit's every one of his escalators, he's due $4.3 million over then next two years.

Michael Jenkins will make $6.2 million over the next two years. And he's never sniffed a 1,000 yard season.

Jerome Simpson will make the same as Percy in 2012 with his 1 year deal. And he's going to miss the first 4 games due to his drug suspension.

And if that's not enough. Musgrave comes out and say's it's imperative Percy is involved in more than 60% of the plays in 2012 becasuse he wasn't involved enough last year.... even though he represented a huge % of the total yards!

It's always about money but let's be honest. Who wouldn't demand a trade out of that s**t hole of an organization?

I still think both the Vikes and AP are going to be disappointed this year. I'm not gonna rag on AP too much because he is apparently working/rehabbing hard, but there is no way he's going to be good-to-go this year. He may be able to play, but won't have any potentcy if he does.
I think we have a name for the new stadium! The Devils Playground

Not sure where to start with this. It's epic. When asked to comment on the Queen's 10 arrests since 2011:

quote:
"Idle time is the devil's play," said Dayton, describing the NFL's six-month offseason. "It means that young males who are heavily armored and heavily psyched as necessary to carry out their job are probably more susceptible to being in bars at 2 o'clock (in the morning) and having problems. It doesn't excuse it. It just says this probably comes with it. Then they take that into society. Much as soldiers come back, they've been in combat or the edge of it and suddenly that adjustment back to civilian life is a real challenge. And that's part of the reality. That's not to say it's good and it shouldn't be improved. It should." "

Dayton does have a point that the guys in the NFL are young, heavily testosteroned, treated as pampered heroes, have money to spend, and have way too much time on their hands. At least, I think that's what he's trying to say. Dayton isn't known for his speaking ability.

The waters of Lake Minnetonka might have something to do with it all, but how does that explain Cincinnati?
