You give Percy alot of credit. But yeah, I could see him using a grow light outside in the snow.

I made a trade involving dope when I was younger. A guy in the bar wanted to buy a bag of weed so I gave him $35 for an Oldsmobile Delta 88 that was in a barn. Took me 5 minutes to get it started. It was a very good trade.
Are you a pothead ChilliJon?

quote:The Associated Press reports that Harvin has requested a trade from the Vikings. However, the report says the Vikings donβt expect to grant that request because the team still views Harvin as one of its most talented players, despite the occasional headaches (literal and figurative) that his presence brings.
...
Ultimately, it seems likely that Harvin will play this season in Minnesota, and will do so under his current contract. And will remain unhappy.

I wouldn't know the first thing about bat guano, vermiculite, and grow lights.... whatever those things are.

You'd think at some point these teams would realize that a player's character really does matter.
Not when these teams are run by men with no character.

Hey @Percy_Harvin, @MattForte22... Got a spare room w/ a bunkbed if interested?? #roomies
I'm beginning to think PFT is owned by the Queens. Any comment that praises the Packers or is in any way critical of the Vikings seems to get voted down.
Christian Ponder has to be thrilled by this news. Not like he had a slew of weapons to begin with but a disgruntled Harvin certainly does him no favors.
Maybe Matt Kalil can run 2 yard hook routes after Matthews blows past him?

Harvin truly is a Moss protege. He wants out of Minny, whines, basically plays when he wants to play (migraines now gone after Coach Kick Ass left), and is talented as heck. Unlike Moss, Harvin seems to have a nick all the time or at least whines about one that keeps him from playing in every game or up to his potential. There's no way the Queens trade him; trades with players of that magnitude just don't happen. I can't see even the Queens letting go of one of the few talented guys they have. As for redoing his contract, well... let's see if Zigi opens that checkbook now that he's flush with a new stadium.
Urban Meyer created a monster...entitlement is a bad thing.

Queens drafted the wrong Kalil

Percy sticks around with a new juggs machine.
Lose/lose situation for mn.
-trade harvin and you lose your only healthy, offensive weapon.
-try to pacify the situation and he will be a cancer in locker room.
Skoal.

If Harvin hit's every one of his escalators, he's due $4.3 million over then next two years.
Michael Jenkins will make $6.2 million over the next two years. And he's never sniffed a 1,000 yard season.
Jerome Simpson will make the same as Percy in 2012 with his 1 year deal. And he's going to miss the first 4 games due to his drug suspension.
And if that's not enough. Musgrave comes out and say's it's imperative Percy is involved in more than 60% of the plays in 2012 becasuse he wasn't involved enough last year.... even though he represented a huge % of the total yards!
It's always about money but let's be honest. Who wouldn't demand a trade out of that s**t hole of an organization?

I love Clay.
If Harvin is removed from the equation and there is no significant improvement from Ponder and the OL, the Vikings offense might have a shot at being one of the worst in NFL history. As long as they still have Peterson, it won't be 2006 Raiders (168 points) or 1991 Colts bad (143 points), but still really, really bad.
Now Harvin tweets this:

I'm really clueless on the crazy reports...had great prac today ....to all my real fans and real vikes fans see u at Mankato..salute

Dude must have been toking heavily today.
Maturity level below my 5-year-old. At least if you are going to cause an uproar and trade demand, own up to it.
Kind of like starting an "I am leaving thread" and posting the next day.

I still think both the Vikes and AP are going to be disappointed this year. I'm not gonna rag on AP too much because he is apparently working/rehabbing hard, but there is no way he's going to be good-to-go this year. He may be able to play, but won't have any potentcy if he does.
That franchise has become the laughing-stock of the NFL.
The Vikings (like the Cubs) have only one possible slogan:
"Wait 'till next year".
"Wait 'till next year".

Ya can't make that stuff up, Tdog! More fun in Minny than a barrel of idiots. Oh wait, they are a barrel of idiots.
I think we have a name for the new stadium! The Devils Playground
Not sure where to start with this. It's epic. When asked to comment on the Queen's 10 arrests since 2011:

quote:"Idle time is the devil's play," said Dayton, describing the NFL's six-month offseason. "It means that young males who are heavily armored and heavily psyched as necessary to carry out their job are probably more susceptible to being in bars at 2 o'clock (in the morning) and having problems. It doesn't excuse it. It just says this probably comes with it. Then they take that into society. Much as soldiers come back, they've been in combat or the edge of it and suddenly that adjustment back to civilian life is a real challenge. And that's part of the reality. That's not to say it's good and it shouldn't be improved. It should." "
it's gotta be in the water.
so an in shape big buy is "heavily armored and heavily psyched".
weirdest choice of words I've seen in a long time.
and maybe they should go home from the bars at midnite instead of hanging around for closing time, perhaps? naw, they're heavily armored and psyched. what could go wrong?

Aren't there 31 other teams with big guys who have a lot of money and a more or less six month offseason that are also "heavily armored and heavily psyched"?
When you're the Govenor running point to secure millions in public funding to champion a new stadium, you're going to have to answer the tough questions.
Why so many arrests?
Why so much public money?
Did Zygi ask you to wear crotchless panties and does he "cuddle" afterwards?

Dayton does have a point that the guys in the NFL are young, heavily testosteroned, treated as pampered heroes, have money to spend, and have way too much time on their hands. At least, I think that's what he's trying to say. Dayton isn't known for his speaking ability.
The waters of Lake Minnetonka might have something to do with it all, but how does that explain Cincinnati?
