So with the Wallace/Jennings move the Vikings:
-do not fill a hole on their roster
-move down two rounds in the draft
-eat up anywhere from 0.9 to 4.9 million in cap space
oh for the days of kick-ass offense and triangle of authority

I'm sure there's a playground near his house... that has a lot of kids needing discipline.
It's his culture. His culture dictates that you beat the hell out of your kids and stuff leaves in their mouths. Spare the leaves and spoil the child.
Minny didn't trade Jennings. They released him. Don't know if they tried trading him or not. They should have. Clown show.
Sorry, fixed the one incorrect trade mention in the previous post.
My mistake as well. Further down your post you mention Minny releasing Jennings.
Everyone's punching bag. Like Barney in a shopping mall.
Anyone heard from Greg's sister?
If Greg learned anything from the last go around, she's probably locked in the basement.
Minny does have Patterson, but word is he's a dog when it comes to work habits and he lived in Zimmer's doghouse all year. He's also lazy running routes and doesn't get where he should be in coverages. All in all, a million-dollar talent with a two-cent brain and work habits who did near nothing last year for his team, and was even taken off kick-return duty. Patterson has got to be unhappy at the addition of Wallace since they are both supposed to be deep threats.
Minny was willing to listen to trade offers for Cordoroy 3 days ago. Little interest. Spielman gave up 3 draft picks for a returner. Clown show.
As an added bonus. Here's Mike Mayock and crew singing the praises of Minny going all in. Love Mayock's comment that Leslie Frazier is the right coach for Cordoroy and the Vikings positive locker room influence. Gold.
I actually love the Minnesota Vikings. Up until the end of Denny Green's tenure there, they were a huge pain in the ass for the Packers (Denny had a winning record against the Pack), but they were always good sports about never actually winning anything that mattered. Now, they don't even bother to screw around by winning games in the regular season, they just cut right to the chase and suck from week 1 to week 17. Their fans are more angry and petulant than ever now that their team are pushovers who have only made the playoffs 4 times over the past 14 seasons (remember how they used to try to comfort themselves by bringing up their regular season winning percentage and division titles?), and that only adds to the enjoyment. Don't ever change, Minnesota, we love you just the way you are!
... Now, they don't even bother to screw around by winning games in the regular season, they just cut right to the chase and suck from week 1 to week 17. ...
It's true, they even suck in their bye week.
And then the Dufus Browns waste the #1 they got from Indy in order to trade up for Johnny headcase.... ohje.....
If Cleveland had a decent owner it's likely Johnny Rehab is in Hazeltine and there is more mirth in Minnesota.
Found in Viking article...
"The Vikings didn't hit home runs with all these picks (understatement) but they got starters at three different positions out of it (K, S, and WR. So why Wallace/Jennings???). This is what smart teams do. They don't chase individual players in the draft, like the Browns did with Richardson"
I could read that last sentence over and over for weeks and it would never not be funny.
Sounds to me like that when they see a problem or weakness, they approach it from multiple angles.

They have obviously sat on the shoulders of geniuses.
They need to bring back the 'Real Men of Genius' ad campaign.
Matt Millen, Emery, Spielman, Coach kick Ass, Trestman, Tice, Mayhue, etc.
boy have there been some lousy GMs and coaches in this division outside of GB The last decade.
Too bad Dujaun Harris career as an NFL player is over.
The scraping of Packer castaways continues.
I like DuJuan. best of luck to him... in a semi-cordial way.
Didn't know signing DuJuan would piss him off so much.
@CharlesRobinson: #NFL source: #Vikings GM Rick Spielman requested dinner meeting w/ Adrian Peterson's agent at owner's meetings. It was rejected. Not good.
Trying to get cut or dealt. Jerrah can't afford him now IAL.
Yo, Adrian.
Agent tells Spielman to pound salt. That is beautiful.
Peterson isn't going to be playing anywhere else but Minnesota unless he agrees to take a significant pay cut. Only the Minnesota Vikings are dumb enough to pay a 30 year old RB $15 million. Marshawn Lynch is making $8.5 million in 2015! Even a 25 year old RB fresh off of a league MVP award isn't worth $15 million dollars a year. Since he'll never take the kind of big pay cut he'd have to take for a trade to work, he's either going to be in purple in 2015, or he'll hold out. Even if he does agree to play for the Vikings at some point (and he probably will), he'll probably turn out to be a malcontent and a cancer in their locker room based on the way he's behaving now.
He's pulling a "Favre" show up when he wants, & does what he wants.
He'll be in Minnesota unless they trade him & if they trade him the team he goes to is on the hook, unless he agree to re-negotiate that deal.
$15 million.....
AP will force a trade because Spielman and Wilf will blink first.
Let it drag on. No hurry. Get DuJuan some reps.
@AlbertBreer: My sense of Vikings' position with Peterson is they're content to be patient. B/w now and Wk 1, only thing he's owed is $250K workout bonus.
Greg Hardy for Adrian Peterson straight up.
Thats the final act of the Cowboys/Vikings offseason clown show.
So this happens tonight. Daughters high school softball game. Wife is sitting next to a woman we've never seen before. I'm wearing my well worn Packers hat. The following conversation goes down:
Strange woman: "We just moved here from Minnesota"
Wife:"oh my gosh. Our daughter said the team had a new player that just moved from Minnesota. We moved from Wisconsin a little over a year ago"
Strange woman:"That would explain your husbands Packer hat. (Leans over and looks at me and in sarcastic ass Minnesota nice) "we are die hard Viking fans!"
Me:"That pretty much guarantees we're not finishing first this year"
Long silence....
Wife: (on drive home)"That was so f*#%*+g rude"
Me:"She drew first blood. Not me"
What are the effing odds of a Viking Klan moving in like this? I can't wait to invite them over for a grill out then undercook her pork chop.
Being a Viking failure follows them everywhere. My Packer hat was like a nasty foxhole flashback.
God bless 'em, but at this point , they're just booger-eaters.
I'm surprised she didn't ask if she could have your hat when you were done with it.
