There's a 17 year old in Brainerd that's already gone through six reams of paper and a few crayola 64's with bonus sharpeners to design the next stadium. Dream big kid. Failure keeps all doors open!!!

If you cant win fans over by winning. Build another stadium.

At some point in the future the Vikings stadium will feature a field 6 feet underground and shaped like a coffin. And with each loss a little dirt will rain down from the rafters.

I hate the Vikings.

I concur!

I also loathe the queens... but Chili's vitrol so often says, often exceeds, my word and with such eloquence, I cannot post, or need to, myself

The Twin Cities media reports that this season the Vikings could be a surprise team in the NFL. Usually that denotes something good. I don't see the Vikings rising above the third spot in the NFC North, anytime soon. Even with all of those high first round draft picks(because they sucked the previous season), it will take a lot of effort and luck to make this team a contender. Keep hoping, Vikings' fans, and keep reminding us of why you deserve a championship so much!

Im not going to lie though. I dig Deandre Leavy. That guy is a football player.

Regarding the improved Viking defense. Terrence Newman is going to start. He's 37. Amari Cooper took him to school last night. Trey Wayne's sucks. And Captain Munnerlyn is playing his way to the bench. Spielman went out and signed the Captain to a nice $4 million per free agent contract. Well done Rick!

The Vikings Suck!

I just had some Twin Cities espn radio on during lunch.  They were interviewing a guy who clearly played for the Vikings during some of the time Carter did (but don't know who).  Boy, was he critical of Carter.  He said Carter was an example of the best in the HoF and the worst.

By best, he referred to his ability, specifically his belief CC had the best pass receiving hands ever in the NFL.  By worst, he was referring to character.

Let's break down Cris Carters emotional apology last night on NFL Countdown. All 22 style.

“It’s really hard to go through my thought process, I can’t make an excuse for what my mindset was"

This is the right pre snap read. He recognizes the zero blitz. Solid recognition.

"My heart was in the right place. I didn’t use words that I was very proud of. It’s not the kind of advice I would offer young people. I would never tell young people to break the law or avoid prosecution."

Ok, At this point protection has completely broken down. The receivers are running go routes. The defense has dropped into cover 3 and the RB is on his knees vomiting. Unfortunately Cris has failed to recognize that saying what he would never tell young players to do is exactly, precisely, absolutely, and literally what he told the young class of 2014 to do. Just make sure you have a fall guy. This play is truly screwed.

"It was bad advice. I really, really regret my words when I heard them come back to me. And more importantly it hurt young people and it hurt them in their approach to the National Football League"

Yes, he's broken containment but this play is officially a dumpster fire. Take the sack. Throw it away. Punt. Stop talking! ****!!!! someone needs to lose a job over this play.

"So I take it very, very seriously. I do regret that day. I hope moving forward that the NFL still has enough trust in me and has me connected to their young people.”

Yes, the end result here was a game losing pick 6. But Cris is going to live another day to say something stupid. I think he will.
