Agreed. Silly to play Cobb when he is struggling with fitness this week.

The 1987 NFC Championship game is one example of a game I remember dreaming about.
In any case, I dreamed that they lost to GB this week.
Every time I dream about the outcome and they lose in my dream, they follow it up with an actual lose.
Every time I have dreamed that they won (which I think was only once), they lose.
Just thought this might be handy for anyone gambling on the game
I remember dancing while blasting the Happy Schnapps Combo's "We're the Minnesota Vikings" after that TD, even before the ref came out from under the hood. It was a very good day. Too bad Sherman, Sharper/Barnett/Marques Anderson and Favre had to ruin what seemed like destiny in Philadelphia.quote:Originally posted by Boris:quote:

Packers coach Mike McCarthy spoke to the media on Friday after his team’s final practice before Sunday’s game against Minnesota. Here are some highlights from his news conference:
-Running back James Starks (knee, out) and cornerback Davon House (shoulder, doubtful) didn’t practice on Friday. Wide receiver Randall Cobb (ankle, knee) was limited and is questionable to play on Sunday.
-Randall Cobb practiced in a limited fashion today. He was able to go through his workout. He took some returns and took some practice reps.
-I think that’s a question for Sunday. We’re in part of the game-planning aspect of it. A very good player as far as returner, offensive player. We’ll let Sunday answer that question.
-We break down the start of every game. It’s part of our evaluation.
-Mike Neal is having a heck of a year. To fight through the shoulder injury, he had the setback with the suspension.
-We haven’t had a padded practice in a number of weeks, but yesterday’s padded practice is actually as spirited as we’ve had for the past month.
-Davon House has shoulder and hip. It’s just not progressing as we’d all hope. We’ll see where he is tomorrow.
-I feel good about Jordy Nelson. He had a good week of work. I have no reason not to believe he’ll be ready to go Sunday.
-Our receiving group is our primary strength of the group. The fact they all can play those spots helps immensely in game-planning. It’s a big part of how we approach games and install offense

Have him suit up and be ready to play if he is needed. He'll have two weeks to rest after the game if the Packers take care of business. The Vikings will not be the pushovers everyone here is making them out to be. If Minnesota's pass rush is rolling (I have a feeling at least Allen is going to be able to do something) and the Vikings score early, it's entirely possible that something messy could develop once the Metrodump gets noisy and Vikings players start feeling confident. If that happens, the Packers are going to need all hands on deck. I have no doubt that the Packers would tear the Vikings to shreds at Lambeau the next week in the event that the Vikings pull an upset on Sunday, but I want the Packers to pull out all the stops to ensure that game doesn't happen at all.quote:Originally posted by Goalline:quote:Originally posted by Boris:

I'd say he's the best commentator of all the Cokeboys though. Emmitt was entertaining while he lasted.
