Are we really going hipster beer snob in here? How many hours do you spend grooming your beard? Does your old fashion barber charge over $40 and extend a 10 min task out to 30 mins to make you feel like a real man?

Drink up!
The top three queens receivers in week 1 were Diggs, Thielen and Rudolph. Diggs had over 100 yards on the day. He and Thielen are their deep threats, right now. Rudolph gets a lot of receptions underneath the coverage after everyone else goes deep and he peels off the line away from the defenders. He ate up Hyde last year. I think he will be Bradford's primary target for 3rd and short yardage plays, if Bradford can throw the ball as I look for lots of pressure on him from the Packers all game.

I went with grizzled desperation look. No hipster hairdos.
If Janis could actually run a route he would be able to breathe some new life into this WR corp. I'm trying to give Adams the benefit of the doubt but he just sucks at separating. I'd like to see Trevor Davis get a little play time just to up the speed. For a small guy he seemed to fight off defenders at the line pretty well.
Geronimo - He fights for the ball

Shut up and drink your Coors Light.
{Ahem} - Michelob Ultra
Michelob Ultra. had one once, once. reminds me of an old joke originally aimed at the difference betwixt Canadian and American beer:
Michelob Ultra is like screwing in a canoe - f***ing close to water.

Never had the beer, but I do miss looking at PV from my Esplanade pad in Redondo's Reviera Village!
Right near the Redondo Brewing Co......Saw many a Packer game there.
Back when I was there, I watched at "Besties" in Hermosa.

Many years ago I tried michelob ultra out of pure morbid curiosity. It was plain enough but the really strange thing is every beer I had after it that night tasted like ssit. Beers I knew were good and had drank many times before. That stuff messes your taste buds up.

we should really screw with zimmer and start Callahan!
Even going back to his days with Cincinnati Zimmer has frustrated Rodgers. We could have remedied that situation by hiring Zimmer in 2007 after they cleaned house in Atlanta following the Bobby Petrino debacle. Instead we stuck with Bob Sanders and then hired Capers-ka-bong in 2009.

I think Rodgers is at the stage where no defensive coordinator is going to give him a scheme where he won't be able to figure out how to attack it. Obviously, he's in the Brees, Brady, P. Manning, etc. level at this point. Zimmer was able to beat Rodgers because he used strong defensive personnel on the Bengals well (and J. Franklin fumbled on that 4th and 1 which was returned for a TD).

His career QBR vs. Mike Zimmer is 94. He had 2 games out of 6 where his rating was above 100 (both in 2014, Zimmer's rebuilding year in MIN). His QBR in the other 4 games is 78.9 (2 with Bengals, 2 with MIN in 2015).
His career QBR in the other 114 games of Rodgers career is 105.
Zimmer is a good coach and he definitely has frustrated Rodgers in the passing game. I think MIN will get a heavy dose of Heavy Lacy and Starks to soften that pass rush. The big difference in the two games vs. MIN in 2015: Lacy ran for 100 yards @ almost 5 ypc in the win and he ran for 34 yards @ under 3 ypc in the loss. Rodgers was sacked 5 times in the loss and only twice in the win. There were other factors obviously, but the running game could be the deciding factor this week.
Zimmer was quoted as saying that he gave our passing game too much respect in that first game, and played "light in the box" too much. In the second game he played us like everyone else did & dared us to beat them deep, keeping another defender in or near the box to shut down our run game. With Jordy back it will be interesting to see what he does. I do worry about our o-line in this game. With the noise factor & fast track, it tends to negate the advantage the offense has in getting off the ball quicker because they know the count.
Rodgers just needs to stop looking for Nelson on every play. Get Abbrederis in there more. More Tight End down the seam.
Rodgers and Cook will figure each other out. Jordy will bust his coat of rust off. Rodgers Jordy is Bens Antionio. The more he goes to him the more it's going to break things loose elsewhere. He's going to lean on Jordy and he should. They need a true 1 that makes plays.
Cook eventually makes things tough for safeties focused on Jordy. That's when Lacy runs into that space.
This offense needs a few weeks to figure out how to eviscerate teams. It's coming.

I actually tried Zima once.

Freak...
Aaron Rodgers is considered one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL.
Naturally, he’s broken a lot of records along the way.
On Sunday though, he broke a very strange record.
Playing against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Rodgers threw 34 passes without throwing an interception. The 34 attempts gave Rodgers 3,120 attempts with out issuing a pick-six, which surpassed Randall Cunningham's total of 3,113 pass attempts without a pick-six.
This can be described as mildly interesting, as it falls into the category of “not something fans think about, but is still pretty cool nonetheless.”
As Rodgers shoots up the list of best NFL QBs of all time, this is definitely an accolade to add to the list.
As compared to say, #4?
He's had at least one fumble returned for a TD, although that shouldn't have counted since the refs missed a facemask.
As compared to say, Pick Six Dick Pix?

Would love to see Jordy break some of that rust off in this game.
...also want to see Cook contribute more.

Zimmer said he's going to take the week to decide on his starting quarterback. Everything is being discussed the next couple days.
#PackersZimmer said his team's win in Green Bay during Week 17 last year showed the Vikings can "play with the big boys."
#PackersMcCarthy said the
#Packers use noise and music in practice and walkthroughs before road games. This week will be the same.
Agree?
6) It’s amazing how infrequently quarterback Aaron Rodgers used the middle of the field against the Jaguars. Part of it might be a lack of trust in his young receivers and/or a reluctance to risk interceptions by throwing into highly congested areas, but most of it has to do with the scheme. This is a typical play from Sunday:
As usual, Rodgers had to extend the play and pray wait for somebody to get open down the field. And as usual, nobody got open down the field. But why in the world isn’t there a single receiver running between the numbers? It would be so much easier to complete long passes if the entire field was actually being used.
Also interesting to note:
Jared Cook came to the Packers with a poor reputation as a blocker, but he was more than adequate against the Jags. The former Ram tried hard and often did more than get in the way. Conversely, Richard Rodgers was awful. His loss of weight might’ve made him an even worse blocker than before – if that’s possible.
Considering how often we get picked apart in the middle...
Peterson knows how to return from torn ACL. He said important for
#Packers WR Jordy Nelson to understand new ACL is stronger than old one.Adrian Peterson, the king of ACL recoveries, had this advice for Jordy Nelson: "He has to mentally understand that his ACL, that ligament in particular is stronger than the one he didn't tear. So pass that message on to him, that the one he tore is stronger than the one he didn't tear. So go out there and just let it loose. You've got to play fast. You've got to have that confidence and understand that piece of it and know that I can go out and not be hesitant and know that I'm still going to be good."
Ya duh....
However, Adrian Peterson said on his conference call that he knows exactly who is starting at QB this weekend. So there's that.
