Just read that the Packers will waive RB Jhurell Pressley. No word if there will be PS player moved up or street player to be signed.
I guess they got what they needed out of the former Vike.
Wish we'd kept him. He's got speed.
Sounds like they are bringing up a PS player, and are going to re-sign Pressley next week?

#Packers expected to cut RB Jhurell Pressley to promote PS player, per league source. There are indications Pressley could return next
Bringing up a CB? That could mean Sam will be "in the protocol" for awhile.
No CB on the PS. Bringing up WR-Geronimo, LB-Bradford, or DT-Price, or maybe the S-Whitehead?
Practice report - PS WR Waters at CB
Positive news at the end about Trevor Davis.
Uncle Ted is really juggling the roster. Few CB's and 2 RB's, feels like were playing with fire a bit. Bringing up a PS player and changing his position, that's sounds crazy. Either way, it won't matter if the Offense can progress and put up points.

That may have saved Hill as there was no one to pick up the stunt if Kalil rides him outside.
Not handing the Vikes 2 TDs and TEN wins that game.
Minnesota OL not the strongest collective unit.. Packers up this week.. Swap Casey for Daniels. I expect a big game pic.twitter.com/QAY00Fv8MA

What, they are surprised he made it through practice?
Not surprised
Ted smokes?

Worth keeping an eye on..
Matt Kalil, Xavier Rhodes and Sharrif Floyd not practicing for Vikings
T.J. Clemmings took Kalil’s post on the left side of the line, while Trae Waynes and Shamar Stephen filled in for Rhodes and Floyd.By Andrew KrammerSeptember 14, 2016 — 3:35pmThe Vikings took the practice field Wednesday without three key players.
Left tackle Matt Kalil (hip) was seen walking through the parking lot with a team staffer right at the start of practice. He, cornerback Xavier Rhodes (knee) and defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd (knee)did not practice.Tight end MyCole Pruitt (knee) also was not practicing.
T.J. Clemmings took Kalil’s post on the left side of the line, while Trae Waynes and Shamar Stephen filled in for Rhodes and Floyd.
Rhodes suffered his injury prior to Sunday’s win in Tennessee, hearing “a pop” in his right knee while stretching that morning. Head coach Mike Zimmer declined to elaborate when asked about Rhodes, only saying Monday that he did not require surgery. He had been limited last week with a hamstring injury, but said that was not going to hold him out of the regular season opener.
Floyd played 23 snaps against the Titans after a knee injury also limited him throughout the preseason.
Limited for the Vikings were running back Jerick McKinnon (foot/lower leg) and center Nick Easton (ankle).
Three Vikings were added to the injury report this week, but were full participants in running back Adrian Peterson (ankle), tight end Kyle Rudolph (knee) and linebacker Eric Kendricks (ankle).
Receiver Charles Johnson (quad) and tight end Rhett Ellison (knee) were also full participants.
Enjoying the ride.
Saw Aaron two weeks ago, he reminded me of a conversation we had in 2006. https://t.co/4D3Y42isnB

Packers coach Mike McCarthy said Sam Shields is "still in the concussion protocol...
Their 1st pick, WR Treadwell, did not play vs TEN.
Coach Mike Zimmer explained Monday why Treadwell did not play. “He still has work to do. We still have to keep getting him going,” Zimmer said.
And then this from Minnesota Vikings beat reporter Chris Tomasson of the Pioneer Press.
"I would be surprised if Treadwell plays much of a role against the Packers. Maybe he’ll get in for a token play or two, but the Vikings have so much depth at wide receiver they don’t need Treadwell to play immediately. It’s also possible that Treadwell isn’t even active if the Vikings decide instead to use Jarius Wright, the veteran receiver who was inactive in the opener."
All that depth, and they draft a WR in the 1st round?
Johnson, Diggs, Treadwell, Thielen, Patterson, and Wright.
Hard to argue with this..
The only way the Vikings beat the #Packers is if their defense scores. Sam Bradford can't be expected to follow an early Green Bay lead.
Blair Walsh has a serious case of the yips, remember that if it comes down to a FG.
And one good hit and Bradford could be injured yet again.
I think Bradford took something like 5 snaps from under center last year.
Bradford could be injured if everyone in the stadium sneezed at the same time. Too bad it's not at Lambeau.

The entire Packers offense, including WR Trevor Davis (shoulder), was on the field Thursday.
Packers not practicing: CB Sam Shields (concussion), CB Josh Hawkins (hamstring), S Chris Banjo (hamstring), OLB Jayrone Elliott (hamstring).
Sounds like these guys are still banged up...

Matt Kalil, Xavier Rhodes, Sharrif Floyd and MyCole Pruitt aren't practicing for the Vikings today. Kalil, who also missed Wednesday's practice with a hip injury, has never missed a regular season game.
Has anyone been able to find the NFL Films preview for the game? I couldn't find one for this week. The only preview I could find is this pile of sh!t
Speed....

Rookie receiver Trevor Davis should be available for Sunday's game at Minnesota if the Packers choose to activate him. Davis missed the opener with an AC joint injury in his right shoulder that he sustained in the preseason finale. Davis practiced in full yesterday and coach Mike McCarthy said had "no limitations, didn't have any setbacks and had a couple of nice catches in the team periods."
Making progress?

Packers coach Mike McCarthy said CB Sam Shields (concussion) was evaluated at Lambeau Field on Friday. McCarthy said tomorrow, when the Packers hold their final practice of the week, would be a key day.
Hope Sam is ok. Someone needs to cover Diggs & it ain't gonna be Gunter
These 2 players again did not practice all week:

Based on that, highly unlikely Rhodes and Floyd play Sunday. We'll see about Kalil, who's never missed a start.

Q (coach speak)
The Vikings started the week with a long list of injured players and coach Mike Zimmer announced Friday that at least two of them are going to miss Sunday’s game against the Packers.
Cornerback Xavier Rhodes will be out for the second straight week because of a knee injury suffered just before the team beat the Titans last Sunday. Trae Waynes joined Terence Newman in the starting lineup with Captain Munnerlyn joining them in sub packages.
That trio will have to be sharp against Aaron Rodgers and company and they’ll have to do it without any help from defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd up front. Floyd, who played 25 snaps in the opener, is also dealing with a knee injury and missed practice all this week.
Left tackle Matt Kalil returned to practice on Friday after missing the first two days to rest a hip injury. Zimmer didn’t rule him out, which would seem to make him a pretty good bet to play in the first game at the Vikings’ new home.
