No punts in the game by either team.  I wonder how often that has happened?

I'd heard that it was the second time in NFL history.  Can't remember the other.

I'm wondering how many times a team has given up 200+ yards of both rushing and passing on D and won by 3 TDs?

Pass pro. Wasn't perfect, but it was much better than it has been.

Play calling seemed much better.

TE production.

-

Rush defense. 235 yards today; averaging 176 yds/game. Ugh.

Allowing 3rd down conversion rate of 60% 2 weeks in a row.

Lost the TOP again. (36/28)

Averaging 72 plays/game against thus far.

Coaching/preparation. As poor as I can remember, regardless of team.

Our rushing game.  Averaging 73 yds/game and 3.5 yds/attempt.

Not sure why there's not more rotation amongst the RBs. Even in a typical game, there should be some. Should have been a lot in a game like today's. JMHO.

Pos:

  •  Rodgers appears to have awakened and shows how spectacular he can be. Got the ball out fast, Bears didn't know what hit 'em.
  • Pass pro
  • Some great catches by the receivers
  • D once again forcing some turnovers

Negs:

  • Tackling, horrible, might be trying too hard for the strip
  • not much of a pass rush
  • this defense looks like the Keystone Cops at times; Cutler drops the snap and there is no one around.

Lacy has had very few holes to hit so far this year.  I really don't understand how our run blocking got so much worse since last year.  EDS?  Ugh.

It was great to see RR getting one down the field but holy smokes does he look like he's wearing concrete boots.  He must have caught CHI by surprise on that one play and was not able to do that again.  How in holy holly did he ever play WR in school?

Run defense?

+AR and co.

+ha ha bringing the boom boom.

Well for one thing opponents have had a full offseason to scope out the new wrinkles MM introduced last season -- a more power-based blocking scheme on certain plays, with pulling linemen, etc. Not just the ZBS that was the Packer staple under McCarthy. That outside toss actually worked quite a bit last year.
