It’s a stinker. It happens.

The OL is a huge concern. I hope they can patch things together until Bakh gets back. Wonder if a real GM might have considered that instead of starting 2 rookies.

AR will be fine.

The defense is a dumpster fire. Again. Wonder if a real GM would have hired a legit DC. Or not trotted out Lowry and Lancaster?

And that is an absolute shit call there.

The interior OL is where you can sign a veteran for relatively little money and get by with them. The Royce Newman whiff that set up the first Rodgers picks never happens with an experienced guy.

Basically going into the season and saying the problem was Pettine (by doing nothing to improve on defense personnel-wise) and thinking Joe Barry was going to be the guy to change things was questionable before even seeing this game.

No one could have predicted this kind of a meltdown by #12 in game 1. This is the worst game I've ever seen him play. Defense is the same garbage it's been for a decade, just 12 usually makes up for it.

If anyone thinks the outcome of this game would be different with Nub as QB1, I have a bridge to sell you. This team has been put on 12's shoulders for over a decade. He has his worst day as a pro, and there is no more deodorant.

People better hope this is an outlier, because if it's not, we will be picking in the top 10. And we will see just how good of a GM Gunt is.

That is some of the most pathetic shit I've read in awhile and I've read this entire thread.  HE DESERVES IT!  Are you 12?

BTW, going all in would've meant addressing the defense.  Didn't happen.  10 million just sitting there.

Jesus you’re big mad about this! 😂 I mean I would be too if I spent 7 months screaming about how infallible Aaron Rodgers was and then he lays an ostrich egg. Its gonna be fine buddy.

No fucking way Barry was the choice after Leonhard.  Just because you want to have one type of scheme doesn't mean you hire on anyone who may have a tertiary connection to that scheme.

The thought process is baffling and that's on Mayo.

Projection becomes you.

The entire team is a wreck but you focus on Rodgers only because why?

I think we know the answer.

Gotta say I do not understand the joy some have because Rodgers has a bad day.

Guess some would rather be right than seeing the team win. Seems like a bizarre way to show your “fandom” but cool?

Luckily, they will at most only have to endure this diva for a year and then everything will be perfect with a QB than knows his place. Which is way more important than production.

It has nothing to do with one game or how Love could do.  This is Last Dance bullshit.  Talk to the current QB.

If you were pragmatic, they should have dealt Rodgers. Now?  His value dropped big time.  It’s a lose lose across the board.

Love may not be the guy. But top tier Rodgers may not be enough to get them to the promised land.  Not with this defense.

The front office needs to answer for this.

Yes. His value is dead now. Because of one bad game. They’ll be lucky to get a 6th rounder for him!

Fucking galaxy brain stuff

Joy, no! Unsurprised? Yup!

Ok boomer. It’s gonna be okay I promise. I will praise Rodgers when he plays well, probably next week. Other players deserve criticism, but they didn’t make the entire offseason about themselves and skip all the team activities. When you pretend you’re 100% better than everyone else on the field you better play like it.
