It has nothing to do with one game or how Love could do.  This is Last Dance bullshit.  Talk to the current QB.

If you were pragmatic, they should have dealt Rodgers. Now?  His value dropped big time.  Itā€™s a lose lose across the board.

Love may not be the guy. But top tier Rodgers may not be enough to get them to the promised land.  Not with this defense.

The front office needs to answer for this.

Any success this season will probably hinge on how Bakh is when he comes back. If they can get to his return at 3-3 or better and he's "normal" Bakh, the OL immediately becomes a strength. If he's not back until 2022, they aren't going anywhere this year.

The Packers had the best center, guard, and OT in the league last year. They lost Linsley and replaced him with a rookie, they lost Bakh, and they moved Jenkins from guard to tackle (where he's above average but not all All-Pro). They replaced Jenkins at tackle with a guy that should probably be on the practice squad.

Never understood why our Moron GM signed King for $6 Million

Maybe because he was one of the FRONT OFFICE wizards who decided King was the better pick than *******?

I mean, what institutional F'in arrogance paying $6M to a CB nobody wanted on the open market ... just because he's a Packer pick.

Rodgers ... Love ... Anthony Dilweg, it ain't gonna matter if you are trying to compete for a Lombardi and consistently trotting out crappy defenses.

The interior OL is as big a problem, if not more.

King. What a friggin' joke.

King is only a joke to those fans who don't sufficiently support the Pack's fine FRONT OFFENSE professionals.

You amateur's don't understand he was a better pick than the NFL defensive player of the year from Madison and how great he has been when he has battled back from unfortunate injuries and what a wise, wise, wise move it was to sign him back to the team this offseason.

Just so much collective wisdom in the FRONT OFFICE when it comes to fielding talent on the defensive side of the ball.

We're lucky to have them as we have been lucky for the past 10+ years.

Because he didnā€™t play in the preseason. Probably needs to shake off rust. Looks like all of them need to shake off rust. I think itā€™s one thing to rest players for preseason, but maybe play all together as a unit like at least once just to get back into football shape. Team didnā€™t look like they had run this offense of defense even once in their life. Very disorganized. So many changes at key positions, feels like perhaps the first teams should have gotten a chance to gel.

So they got that going for them....which is nice.

I didn't think they'd get completely blown out but I did believe they would take 3-4 games to get in shape.

How'd you guys like pre-season game #1??

It was all fine and good when the vets were yukking it up in shorts during preseason gamesā€¦but obviously ā€œwe donā€™t need no preseasonā€ isnā€™t true. MLF needs to quash that shit going forward. I donā€™t care what the vets wantā€¦theyā€™ve proven today they could have used SOME preseason action. Especially with a brand new D in place.

That's a Russ Ballz move -- has nothing to do with Gutey.

Russ Ball is the type of guy that seems to like showing he's the smartest guy in the room. Looking for "value"

Kevin King is not a complete stiff, but he needed a change of scenery as badly as any player in the NFL. It would have been like bringing Bostick back after the Seahawks game. Too much baggage and the first time something goes bad the NFL Title game is all anyone is going to think about

They didnā€™t have preseason last year and they came out strong, but then again NO ONE had preseason and there were no fans in the stands. Some teams DID play starters. I think all these vets got into their own heads after basically resting all offseason last year and playing well, I think this was different.
