PFT rankings:

1. Seattle Seahawks (No. 1 last week; 1-0): They need to get space ready for another banner.

2. Denver Broncos (No. 2; 1-0): To learn how to put a team away, maybe they should watch the film of Super Bowl XLVIII.

3. Green Bay Packers (No. 4; 0-1): They lost to the Seahawks by 20. Every other team ranked below them on this list would have lost in Seattle by more than 30.

They will be identical to the ones that pop up after we lose to the 49'r or Seahawks in the playoffs.

At the end of 2010 we felt like a team on the rise, ready to win a SB.  We had that mojo through most of 2011 and most of 2012 until the D started to collapse again.   Right now, we don't have the mojo and need to find it in time for a playoff run.

I don't think the D has changed a lot.  Raji being a force is the biggest factor.  I think our opponents style has changed though and that's the biggest difference IMO.   The Eagles and Bears are very different style then the 49'rs and SeaHawks.

One thing we learned from the game is that Genius Tretter is going to have a hard time taking his Center job back in 7 weeks. I'm very happy with Linsley after he was thrown to the fire immediately conducted himself like a pro. I was very skeptical about him and I'm very happy I was wrong.

If Linsley is the best option then Tretter will go full Flanny.

I like Tretter's size, but if Linsley performs well then you have to go with the hot hand. That's something I think McCarthy believes in. With Tretter's background at Tackle I could see him becoming the Don Barclay replacement backing up all positions on the line.

What I learned: today's Big Show WSSP Aaron Nagler of SInow.com- Mike Pennel still inactive.

Probably because guion is a Grand Master doing back flips.

About the last 10 minutes they're discussing the DL:

Pennel was not on the DidNotPractice list, so not sure how he could be considered inactive?

Geez, that's great news. Thanks, cuqui. I'm hoping he can have the same impact Shields had as an undrafted FA. (fingers crossed)

We learned you took Pitt and/or the under.

Agreed we have no idea what's in play.

When CBS brought Mike Carrey on tonight and he bloviated about hitting above the neckline for a hit as pure as a Canadian snowflake I knew right then and there everything can be satisfied  and made right with an understood paycheck.

I hate the NFL tonight. I've followed the NFL all my life. I don't recognize this NFL. It's like a lifelong freind told me Ive been a friend to someone that never gave a **** about me.

Well **** you Roger Goodell. **** you!!!! And **** you're NFL.

Ha ha. No. Didn't bet that $hit $how.

We learned Thursday football still sucks because the players bodies haven't healed from playing a mere 96 hours prior.

They need 7 days between games.
I learned I have no more patience for Dom & his so called "defense."

I learned this Packer team can't be special until the defense starts pulling their weight.

I learned injuries are piling up across the league to key players.

I learned Jordy Nelson is a top 5 WR in the NFL.
