Witten/Beasley vs the middle of this defense and their run D being tested vs Murray

Exactly,  Dallas didn't play very well, and needed the refs to get the W.  But they have a really good RB, pretty good TE's, a beast at WR.  I think our Offense should be able to score on them, relatively easily, but if they play a better game, their O will score on our D.

Picking up the flag was B.S. But the Lions called plays in the 2nd half like they don't trust their QB and he responded in kind. They made the Cowboys defense better than it is. You could see it coming. The Lions defense isn't good enough to just go into a shell offensively with two whole quarters.

That call was the game.  And the fact that no one has ever seen that before, and there is no explanation, the NFL will have to eat it tomorrow.  Little relief for DET, but there is no doubt, in my mind, that call was the biggest play of the game.

Never seen that before. A good 30 seconds after they announce the penalty they say there is no penalty with no explanation.

Why is Dez Bryant in the field Yelling at the refs and why wasn't he flagged?

That being said it was still 4th and 1. Why didn't Caldwell go for it?  It was a no brainer. The game was over when the Loins punted.

Detroit got flagged for defensive holding on 3rd down but the refs totally missed #78 holding on the right side. That's ok though because they made up for it by not calling #77 Smith for obvious holding on the touchdown pass.

For or all the hype about the Dallas OL Detroit sure dominated them.

The call was terrible but the Lions still could have sucked it up and converted the 4th down play.  Punting there was inexcusable.

Agreed. That was a MIke Sherman moment.

Completely disagree.  Of course, they could have made a stop, and of course, if they make the call, the next play Stafford could've thrown a pick 6.  But the timing of that call in the game, the momentum, the opportunity to be in scoring position,  without making a mistake (I know), and having a better than 50% chance of going up 6 points, is the game.  Even if they are up 6 and DAL comes down and score, DET needs a FG to win, instead of a TD.

Or they could've played better football throughout the second half.  Dallas TD drive, stupid penalties kept that drive alive instead of holding for a FG as well as  burning up a chunk of minutes.

No doubt in my mind that "NY" called down & told them to pickup the flag.

Packers / Dallas are a big draw & big TV ratings. Nobody cares about seeing Carolina get completely destroyed by GB & Detroit getting demolished by Seattle.

Time to bring it on Sunday.
