Are you serious? I've never heard that story. I knew Sherman was a horrific GM, but that would take it to a new level.
I kinda credit the BJ Sander debacle as a wake up call for Bob Harlan, I think it really raised an eyebrow

I think most of the scouts/directors on hand were advocating for selecting Matt Schaub, if I remember the story correctly.
