Well, I predict the Panthers win, simply because I think the Saints would be a tougher opponent for the Vikings.

If it's really bad weather in Minnesota, Newton is a bigger problem for them because of his running ability

I'm super confused by this post.

Yeah. I wasn't thinking.

I’d still like to know if some of the defensive talent that recently departed was based on finances. The belief they weren’t worth keeping based on performance. Or if they simply wanted to go elsewhere. And if they wanted to go elsewhere then why?

Cam might not be back today. That hit was nasty.

Seriously?

Have you ever been to the hamlet of Green Bay?

"Indoor plumbing", Casey Heyward responded when asked why he left for San Diego.

Casey wrote a classy note to Ted after Ted stepped aside. Thanked him for drafting him. Believing in him. And giving him a chance to play in the NFL.

I wouldn’t expect you to know this. For two reasons.

1. You don’t actually know anything about the Packers.

2. You’re a ****ing idiot.

Allen was already on the Saints. Saints cut Rob Ryan loose last year after they finished dead last in defense. Promoted Allen. Drafted some good players on D (Lattimore is really good) and it worked out great.

Sometimes a new voice and new tape goes a long way.

Yup. Players have really responded to him compared to Rob Ryan and Greg Williams.

Hopefully the Pack can mirror thier recent draft success as well as the defensive improvement. Though having players like Cam Jordan and Lattimore go a long way toward making a scheme look good.

It will be interesting to see who GB tabs as DC. Part of me would love to see them move to a 4-3. Perry, Daniels, Clark, Lowry up front is pretty strong. DE is Perry’s natural position.

The pieces are all there. Just need direction and accountability. Really looking forward to how it plays out.

Looking ahead to next weekend, I can't see Jax mounting any kind of challenge to Pitt. Maybe a chance if they can get their running game going, otherwise it will be a long day for them.

I'll give the Titans a puncher's chance vs NE, but still expect the Cheatriots to win.

The early forecast for Philly on Sunday is a high in middle 30's, with winds 10-15 mph. Not brutal cold, but maybe enough to at least slow down Atlanta. The Eagles will have their work cut out for them; they've got the defense to do it, but their offense may not be able to keep them in the game. If the Falcons get an early lead, Philly won't be able to catch up.
I think NO will have to be much more balanced to win in Minny. It may depend on how well the Vikes generate pass rush. The Saints OL is susceptible to breaking down, but if they can hold up, I think Brees can tear up the Vikes secondary.
Keenum can have some success passing against NO, but will he? He's going to face a plenty ferocious pass rush, and may face a situation like Foley (not being able to catch up if they get behind early).

Boris, especially, has posted that sooner or later, QBs will have to step up and make plays for their teams. I think we're going to find out that is indeed true for all the upcoming games.

Cam Jordon is a true 4-3 DE. Clark is not. Perry is a 4-3 DE. But GB has taken 10-15 lbs off Nick since he was drafted so he could stand up outside. Perry would need to hit the buffett if GB entertained a 4-3.

Defense is now multiples anyway. Sometimes you play 3-4, Sometimes you play 4-3 sometimes you play 2-5 or 2-2-7

The most important thing is staying healthy. The DC needs to do the best he can with the players he's given. Not the other way around (Square peg round hole) like Capers was trying to do
