The Illini are not respecting Coan's ability to throw deep at all. They are getting by by playing the run with only 7 in the box, but the safeties are attacking toward the LOS at the snap. The OL is getting push - Taylor is getting 2-3 yards most plays before contact, but then the LBs and safeties are filling the gaps quickly.
The only pass plays besides checkdowns that have worked are to the TE -who is running routes that the safeties are vacating space to play the run.

Badgers were up 20-7 with a first and 10 at the Illini 21. After offensive (holding call), special teams (missed FG), and defensive mistakes what should have been a 3 score game is a nail biter.
