Whoa, Megatron is contemplating retirement

“Like many players at this stage of their career, I am currently evaluating options for my future,” Johnson said in a statement released by the Lions Wednesday afternoon.

A former teammate who wished to remain anonymous told the Detroit Free Press “it’s just his time” and that he’s talked with Johnson about retirement.

All of the changes in the organization and losses have to wear on you.  He's a stud, and could be for another 4-5 years.  The Lions signed him to a ridiculous deal, and I think his cap number next year is $24M.  The Lions might ask to restructure, or they just might cut him, but they need a GM first.

Herschel posted:

Rex Ryan hired Rob as Assistant Head Coach: Defense.

This should b fun.

Two automatic wins for the Patriots each season. The Ryan's should open a buffet and take their act out of football
