New England's OL has been hit hard this year too.
New England has been hit so hard that Billy B pulled Brady out of a game with a 1 seed on the line because he felt the risk of Tom getting killed was too great.
Looking back over the draft to 2008 when we drafted Sitton, we also took Giacomini. He played 16 games fro the Jets this season. It looks like we draft two linemen year after year and one or so from those years is still on the team. Is that typical for other teams too? Look, Newhouse is still starting for the Giants and we were happy when he left, we had bad injury luck with Sherrod. How does a team keep a stable of linemen when your success is less than 50% in the draft? Backups want to start, so they will leave in free agency. Before Barclay got injured he looked competent at tackle. We are not unusual, other teams shuffle linemen due injury and try their best.
And yet New England and Denver, with greater O-line issues, have the weekend off.
The AFC sucks.
Because Washington, The Giants, Philly, Dallas, Detroit, Chicago, Minnesota, Atlanta, Tampa Bay, New Orleans and the Rams are somehow good?

Not all have been historically good
