TT with X4 FU pick.
I'm liking the picks so far, though I have limited knowledge of some of these guys. So I'm basing that on the position they play and the ratings of them by "experts."
By the way, anyone notice that NFLnetwork at least spent some time talking about both of our 4th round picks? Checking my DVR, but I see no review of those picks on ESPN at all. Drives me crazy!
****ing brutal.
Hey NFL, it's about the draft not some ****ing idiot in a foam head pumping his fists in the air!
One of our last 2 picks will be a wide receiver. Count on it! Ted likes his WR's! And consider how lame Montgomery was at season's end, even after sitting out many games. Jordy is coming back from a major injury. Who knows if he will be 100%. Cobb was injured in the Cards game. Who knows if he'll be 100%? And Davante Adams sucked. I think Ted (and maybe MM) wants an extra tool in the box!
Disagree. GB currently has 6 NFL caliber WR's on the roster with the low man being Abby. I'm not interested in shipping any of our current guys down the road for a late round pick.
TT needs to add another MLB and a fat guy in R5 and R6.
Bring some camp WR's in after the draft concludes.
Dammit NYG gets Perkins. He would have been fun to watch
WR, CB, TE or RB left maybe? TT might trade down from 163 and pick up another pick.
Would love to get Westerman this late.
liked Jordan Payton. I think GB needs a WR. Not sold on Adams, Janis and Abby and I have my concerns about Jordy coming off an ACL at 31 years old. Hope I'm wrong but I think they could use an outside WR.
Someone was asking last night if third round was too early for Scooby Wright.
I think Scooby in the 5th would be about wright.
That's a kick in the nuts. Westerman 2 picks away.
Packers pick a 4.4 WR. Speed
love the pick. fits the mold for a WR in the offense.
Sam Seale is on a roll. Four players from his scouting area (3 Pac 12, 1 Mountain West)
Trevor Davis
Strengths
Weaknesses
Track speed doesn't translate underneath. Needs runway to get going and can't hit jets out of his breaks for separation. Needs to improve hard vertical push to clear space for comebacks and outs. OneÂ-speed, rounded routes need work. Struggles to release cleanly against quality press coverageDraft Projection

"He's a pretty good returner. I don't see him being drafted, but he could make a team as a return man and last receiver on the depth chart." -- NFC West scoutWith all this military presence at the draft, the neocons have got to be sporting major wood
Sounds like a kick returner.

I told ya. Ted likes lots and lots of WR's in camp, and is always willing to roll the dice. And this may show that either Monty or Cobb are far from certain of being 100% for the start of the season. And/or that he's ready to let Adams walk. Yes, there will be competition at WR in camp. As they always say, that's good. May the best man win!

Pretty sure a WR was a lock as soon as I posted that... I think we have enough of them but WTF do I know.
It probably bodes worst for Abby than anyone.
No matter how we feel about the picks, there's probably not 7 roster spots open anyway, even adding in the 5 PS spots. You can't teach speed and we do need more of that. Janis! could worry a bit too, but he's got experience now AND speed, but he's iffy on returning spotting the ball. Then again, we've seen KR/PR specialists drafted before and they couldn't do squat when it came to live NFL football.
Vikes pick the Kraut!
Obviously we despise the Vikings but that German dude's story is pretty cool.
His 40 time is the SAME as Jeff Janis
Press conference with Seale, he really liked Davis. Big hands, doesn't drop the ball, takes the big hit...and speed.
Almost time!
Trade down for a pair of seventh's Ted.
Another Stanford guy.
Kyle Murphy, OT and another stanford kid.
Fire all the other scouts? Seale rulz!
Seems like TT valued smarts quite a bit today
Derek Watt. Grave Digger thinks he's more suited to the 4-3. GD, he's a fullback.
Without a 7th we can start seriously working on the Free Agents.
A pair of 6-6 OT's in the same draft.
Reminiscent of Cat-pig and the Big Lamborghini.
5 of the 7 picks from the west coast... and not a goddam one of them Scooby. WTFackrell??

Another brilliant tactical move by TT.
