Speaking of TE's, what the hell happened to Kraft?
Kraft is blocking. Give him time. Musgrave is my new Packers' man crush. They don't use him enough down the seam.
Is he? I haven't been able to look for him. I thought they had a different TE, I had never heard of, out there in that role.
Amon Ra St. Brown make-up pick.
Reed is such a baller. Love watching this young man grow and learn the game. Tough as nails and electric with the ball.
Reed was my favorite pick by the Pack in a long time regardless of which draft position. There was something about his competitiveness and the way he made plays in college. Can't wait to see him after another year or two of Pro training and physical development. Kid is a stud.
There are good things happening from all of the young receivers, and Reed may be the most dynamic. Quite the weapon!
For the year:
60 receptions, 681 yards, 8 TD
11 rushes, 119 yards, 2 TD
11 punt returns, 94 yards (8.5 yards/return avg)
" Fake tough!"
Assuming Watson turns around his hammy issues, 2nd round WR's have been gold for some time now.

If he had a decent QB while at Michigan State, probably would not have been there in the second round. Diamond in the rough.
If only Kirk Cousins had another 13 or 14 years of NCAA eligibility...
He probably does in today's NCAA.
Jordan Addison had 118 more yards than Jayden Reed.

He ran 180 more routes.
Got 14 more targets on those routes.
But confirm your priors.
Watching highlights like this, this is going to feel like one of the longest offseasons we've had in a while.
Likely to be the longest in 4 years.

How much did you pay Fedya for that one?
Bastard didn't pay me anything.
Fedya gets his outta Kiel's trash bin.
HatefulâĒ, the lot of you.

Oh Jay Reed, you've done it again!
33rd Team has an article out on non-rookie breakout players
Our own Jayden Reed made the cut- more here, scroll down:
https://www.the33rdteam.com/7-...for-2024-nfl-season/
"When the Green Bay Packers offense found its groove during the second half of the season, Jayden Reed was the best receiving option. The second-round pick was a big-play threat and one of the best vertical options from the slot.
His 18 targets and 361 yards from the slot... on throws of 20 or more air yards were the most in the league.
"Reed started as the jet guy in Green Bayâs offense, and he grew in that role, making it a more dynamic position. By the end of the season, the Packers were taking traditional jet plays â like the jet wheel teams are featuring heavily since Tyreek Hill and the Kansas City Chiefs used it to get more momentum for his speed â and breaking them off into the middle of the field."
An offseason in the "nutrition, strength and conditioning program" could make him even more fun.
All I know is that Gute over the past two years has been amazing at finding TEs and WRs!

https://packerswire.usatoday.c...l-2024-bucky-brooks/
From Brooks: âOn a team without a true WR1, Jayden Reed could ascend to the top spot as a reliable chain mover with strong hands and dynamic running skills. Operating primarily out of the slot, the second-year pro is a rare find as a vertical threat, possessing polished route-running skills that enable him to win on crossers, digs and deep overs. Reed earned Jordan Loveâs trust during a fine rookie season (64 catches, 793 receiving yards and eight scores) that put the former second-rounder on the radar as a potential No. 1 option in Green Bay. These two should make even sweeter music in their second season together.â
Chad OchoJohnson is sold...
Jayden Reed bitch, learn the fucking name now got damn casual fans ð§

This kid is damn good, and not just at catching the ball.
Blocking ALOT of money out there @JaydenReed5 - and a CB with a highlight reel of destroying perimeter blocks. Hat tip, sir. pic.twitter.com/YhMDpoPExE

I've seen quite a few comparisons of Reed to a young Randall Cobb and I disagree. Love Cobb and he was a very good player, but Reed strikes me as more complete and dynamic than he was.
The comparison is they both play in the slot. I think he's equal to Cobb in receiving skills but Reeds overall game is better IMO & I love Randall Cobb. He's ðððž
Jordy Reed.
Agree with both @michiganjoe and @Boris.
What distinguished Cobb from the beginning was his knack for reading the game the same way as Rodgers. When a play broke down Cobb was the go-to guy on scramble plays, not unlike the connection Travis Kelce has with Mahomes. Randall also had outstanding short area quickness which, before injuries began to take their toll, made him a great option coming out of the backfield or working the middle of the field.
Jayden Reed plays a different game. He plays bigger and stronger than Cobb and there is a directness to his game that none of the other Packer receivers have. When he decides to go North-South, boom! heâs going! Somebody said in the game thread yesterday that Reedâs vision when ball carrying through crowds is outstanding and I agree. Heâs also an outstanding blocker. Terrific player!
