Think about that.....not even Deebo or Randy Moss or Jerry Rice did that shit.
He's CLEARLY the #1 WR on this team.....and he's going to get paid like it too.
Wild stat from @NextGenStats: the Packers have averaged twice as many yards with Jayden Reed on the field (8.6) than when he's not (4.3) this season. Game-changer.

I would imagine he'll get a lot of attention from the Rams tomorrow.
The door should be wide effing open for Wicks. This is his chance.
With only 4 WRs tomorrow, Reed, Wicks, Heath, & Melton, TEs and the running backs will have their chances.
As long as he doesn't become a head case like Doubs.
Thankfully one of the tight ends had a big game!!
Musgrave has an ankle injury. He was only on the 53 Sunday as an emergency fill in pending injuries. Hope he's ready to roll against AZ this weekend.
FYI.....
On pass plays over 20+ yards....Jayden Reed is averaging a ROBUST 44.6 yards per play. 5 attempts, 5 catches and a perfect QB rating. No other receiver is even close to that avg. in the NFL.
If you skip ahead to 33:23 you can get right to Reed and not have to listen to what I just endured.
Edit 2: the whole thing is a tough listen. Mostly just sh!t talking each other the whole time. Not much interesting or insightful
Relentlessly positive kid.
Jayden Reed gets mentioned at 10:50
Javon Bullard at 34:50
Attaboy for Gutey's free agency class at 51:30 (reprise at 53:45 for Malik Willis)
Also put GB in top three organizations so far. Lots of praise for Gute coaches and a young team.
At S they mention Evan Williams but I'm surprised they picked Bullard instead. Shows you what I know.

Splash plays vs. steadily good play. Armchair QBs tend to see and announcers tend to focus on splash plays; coaches value players who on every play are in their assigned spots, tackle surely, and cover well.
PFF has X and Evan Williams as two of the top four rated S in the NFL currently. Despite PFF's validity, I don't think Williams is only providing splash plays.

I sometimes wonder if some rookie players are successful because they excel in what they know, yet they donโt start and/or are limited to certain packages because theyโre somewhat limited with the playbook. As good as Cooper has been in limited snaps, I canโt believe the coaches havenโt played him (so far) as much as Quay or Wilson or McDuffie because simply because they prefer to play vets .
We do what we do.
This goes back decades.
Rookies get shafted in Green Bay. Other than Baji Raji and Clay Matthews.
You must haver a short memory. Ahmad Carroll, Antuan Edwards, Josh Jackson, Kevin King, Mike McKenzie, Damarious Randall, Eric Stokes, Fred Vinson all started games for the Packers. All were cut or traded, except head case McKenzie because they sucked.
Why was M

Why was Mike Mckenzie a head case? I don't remember.
Josh Jackson was an all time bust. That was the year they went veteran in free agency and brought in Jimmy Graham and Marcedies Lewis and then passed on Dallas Goedert and Mark Andrews to take Jackson. That was also the year they pushed Jordy out and sent 12 spiraling. To be fair 87 was almost cooked, but he would have helped that season. They made a mess of the roster that year and it took a while to clean up.

He wanted more money when some of his buddies across the league were getting paid more than him.
So he had an "injury" (hamstring) fuck him until Sherman traded him to the Saints I think.
I remember watching him as a rookie in pre-season when the Packers played at Camp Randall. I could tell that night he was going to be good. Same draft as Edwards and Vinson who were 1 & 2. He played circles around them in the pre-season. But as Boris said he wanted more $$$$$$$$ before his contract was up so he was traded.
That 1999 draft really sucked except for the last guy the Pack picked, Donald Driver.

I remember that too. Mckenzie was the third CB taken and by far the best one. We can thank Randy Moss for the Edwards, Vinson and McKenzie picks.
Pretty sure McKenzie had at least 2 more years left on his deal but he was all butthurt because his buddies were making more and he was the better CB.
You signed the deal douchebag
That McKenzie trade with NO netted JT OโSullivan and a second rounder. That second rounder ended up being Nick Collins. Iโd say that was a pretty good trade.
