No chance of Cook getting released. The Jets just released Carter who got claimed immediately.

Wasn't there something not long ago about Cook wanting out of NY? Or am I thinking of another unhappy RB?
He's not getting the reps he wants. The Jets cut a RB but Cook still only got 2 carries yesterday.
Hard to blame them when they have a HOF QB on the roster.
Throw to Doubs more often in the RZ. He uses his hands, and on the TD the way he snatched it to keep the DB from swiping it out of his hands was a great move. If that was Watson, the DB wins that battle.

Interesting. Perhaps Romeo should watch the tape again just to be sure.
I think sometimes we fat-assed fans think we know what weβre talking aboutβ¦and then you hear someone who actually knows.
Iβm not fat. Iβm big boned.

He should watch the tape because that CB had no shot at making a play. He didn't even know where the ball was and just took a wild swing when he could see Doubs going for it. https://www.packers.com/video/...-packers-vs-chargers
Do you ever listen to yourself Rick? The QB literally said the ball was under thrown. The receiver literally said the ball was under thrown while WATCHING THE TAPE in the video titm provided above. I saw one video where an NFL analyst specifically mentioned not once, but twice, that the ball was under thrown. It's not a big deal, but there is nothing to argue. It's not debatable. The fucking ball was under thrown.
The guy that threw the ball said it was underthrown.
the guy that caught the ball knew he had to make a play on it before the corner could
Jesus Fuck
Or I guess trust the word of the PR guy.

It was a perfect pass and I have a still photo to prove it!
Folks lock in on a narrative and never let go even though it has been debunked a thousand times. You see it everyday.

The WR did not say it was underthrown and I never saw where Love said it was underthrown. And I looked. Doubs said the DB was coming underneath but you can clearly see the CB had no clue where the ball was or could make a play on it. Is he coming underneath? Yes. Can he make a play on the ball? No. O'Sullivan said it was slightly underthrown right after he said it was a dime.

Show me the link where Love says it's underthrown. I looked and can't find it.
A guy throws a TD pass where only the WR can get it and you guys are finding fault? I understand there's a lovefest with Rodgers but get over it.
You clearly haven't looked hard enough...

Watch his post game press conference itβs all right there.
and no, you are being obtuse. Either deliberately or otherwise thatβs what people are finding fault with
Obtuse? Take it to the fat guy thread
Can we agree that Love is not good at throwing deep? Or do the stats deceive us?
I think Love is progressing and shows some promise for sure. The pass that upset me the most was over throwing the TE (Musgrave?) down the sideline. The under thrown pass to Doubs wasn't a horrible pass, but it took an excellent adjustment by the WR to make it all come together.
Most can agree with that, most can agree he has improved during the year, most can agree that his supporting cast even at 100% is suspect.
Its easy, watch the games.
It's his footwork and OL that are holding him back. He doesn't get flustered, he understands where to go with the ball, and he has all the intangibles. I think the WR corp is going to be great. Next season they probably drop Toure and go with 5.

I mean you look at the play. The DB is about 3 yards behind Doubs. A slightly deeper pass gives the DB zero chance of even an intentional PI penalty. It's beyond ridiculous this is still being debated 3 days later.
It wasn't a BAD pass by any means but Love wasn't trying to make Doubs stop.
