Maybe expect a trade up today, maybe twice.  I can see at least one S, CB, DL, OL, RB, QB, LB & K.

Yep, I almost think they HAVE to get a QB, RB, and DL just for depth purposes.  OL maybe, but they did draft a ton of guys last year and maybe they'll hope some of them develop as opposed to getting more bodies there.  Safety is another one, you'd like to get at least 1 prospect to challenge as the safety play was just awful last year for the most part.

Maybe one of those 7th rounders is a kicker they like as well, but we all know kicker is maybe the toughest thing to scout other than QB.  You just don't know how good these guys will translate to the NFL until they're actually there.

It really is amazing how in about 90 days, the Packers offense just got incredibly young.

@mattschneidman
Green Bay’s QB is 24 years old. RBs 28 and 24. Top three WRs all 23. Top two TEs 22 and 22. The Packers’ youth movement on offense is here. Jordan Love needed weapons and Brian Gutekunst got him three on Friday night.

A number of interesting guys still on the board. Off teh top of my head:

Kelee Ringo: Young, fast, GA CB

Adeboware: Freakishly athletic

JL Skinner: Big safety who called the backfield.

Jalen Redmond: Decent DL prospect

Blake Freeland, Jaelyn Duncan: Solid OT prospect

Andre Carter: Edge who needs to add weight

Antonio Johnson: young safety prospect

Nick Saldivery: Versatile O-lineman prospect.

Cory Trice: Long CB

Daniel Scott: Safety and team capataion from Cal.

Nick Herbig: Late, sentimental pick

Andrei Iosivas/AT Perry: Long, fast WRs

Kayshon Boutte: Young LSU receiver project

Josh Wylie/Zach Kuntz/Will Mallory: intriguing TEs

Hard to believe Gute drafts ALL of those picks, but then again...

Don’t think Packers will spend a pick on PK. Moody and Ryland are the top guys and I think they will probably just sign some UDFA. If the Packers had drafted Moody in the 3rd, people would have lost their shit.

Probably.  But I'd have been cool with it in the 7th for sure, probably even the 6th (after watching his career at U of M).

From Silverstein’s live blog:

”He's 6-4, 273 pounds. Had 11 sacks over the past two seasons and led the team in forced fumbles last year. Another guy with really long arms, 33 3/4 inch arms. He could wind up playing the edge for the Packers.

He's really quick and probably can play numerous positions.

It will be interesting to see where they play him. He had 30 tackles for loss during his three seasons. Good speed for a 273-pounder at 4.79. 23 on the bench.“
