@lovepack posted:So the safety position comes down to hope.
I think Nixon and Ford made some plays last year and I am not worried.
For better or for worse, this is now MLF's team. Now we'll get to see what kind of coach he really is, whether he is the guy who benefitted from Rodgers or the guy who could have been even better if Rodgers had carried out his plays. I think he's looking forward to the challenge as well.
Now, if only Barry would adapt and turn up the heat!
Hmmm...I don't see any players named Hope or Prayer on the roster...

I'd take a waiver on Hope and Prayer over Darnell Brutal.

Maybe Hamilton, Johnson, Taylor and Wilson can step up too?
(Edit: of course Hamilton never actually was a president, yet his first name was Alexander)
Packers have placed LB Tariq Carpenter and S Tarvarious Moore on the non-football injury list.
Lost in the fray...sounds like Rashan Gary is ahead of schedule...not going to start on the PUP list...

Huh?
@AaronWilson_NFL: Wide receiver Cody Chrest signing with #Packers after successful tryout, per a league source as team adds speedy Harvard @Harvard grad and @SamHoustonState standout just in time for camp. Verified 4.35 40 and 6.77 L drill at Pro Day this year.
Hot Take...Jayden Reed will be everything the Packers hoped calAmari Rodgers would be.
If Reed is as good as βin his primeβ Cobb, Iβll be very happy.
I'd settle for Reed being the next Aaron Brooks.
Really though, most anything above the next Taco Wallace would be helpful.
Yeah but can he surpass the great Whitewater Jesus?
Let's let him surpass Don Hutson first and then we can talk about Whitewater Jesus.
Little trickery with rookie WR Jayden Reed π pic.twitter.com/cEFxYKVhoS

Was it trickery or did he just run the wrong route?
Or a basic WR end around.
Day 2 update:
Another view of Day 2:
Joe Burrow carted off. They say a calf injury, so a sigh of relief for the Bengals.
Calf grabber!

Sounds like a charlie horse type cramp. Gotta hydrate in this heat!
@RobDemovsky: The Packers have released Jonathan Garvin. The fourth-year linebacker skipped most of the offseason program.
Fringe players shouldnβt be skipping anything
Good...higher expectations for the defense.
Can tell Matt LaFleur really likes rookie WR Malik Heath. He gave a long, detailed answer he got asked about him today.

"I think he is a talented young player, a guy we really look forward to putting in some situations and seeing how he responds in games."
We hardly knew you, Jason.
