Williams was the 12th pick in the draft even when he was going to be out his entire rookie year from an ACL tear. Watson was a 2nd round pick.

Williams was the best college WR Alabama has had the one year he played. Watson played in North Dakota.

Watson is fast, but Williams ran a 4.25 while rehabbing and was rumored to be capable of running a sub 4.20.

There is no comparison. And that's with Williams underachieving somewhat.

Williams also couldnt crack the starting line up when at tOSU.  Crazy to think of who was all in that WR room at time.

IF Daniels survives....

  1. He has to stay healthy
  2. 2nd years are weird

NFL DC's have a way of adjusting in a QB's second year. Just ask CJ Stroud

Daniels does indeed have to stay healthy, but Love doesn't run and got hurt this year anyway. Twice.

Daniels also is both conscious about not taking hits and has an uncanny ability to avoid them.

I do agree that defenses will be more in tune with his game in 2025.

But I also expect Daniels to have a significantly better OL next season after Washington splurges in free agency.

Daniels is a combination of Randall Cunningham and Dan Marino.  He can run like Cunningham but he can also sit back in the pocket and throw quick strikes like Marino.  Cunningham could pass but had a slower windup delivery.  Daniels can get it out quickly, accurately, and with really good velocity.

I guess I am just glad he didnā€™t end up in the NFC North.  But him being in the NFC for a decade wonā€™t be too much fun anytime the Pack has to face him.

One day a player is going to screw up that flip and and weā€™ll donā€™t really want to think about what the end result would be.

This.  I realize theyā€™re elite athletes and all, but it seems so reckless to do that for no reasonā€¦.like that dude who tore his ACL while celebrating a sack.

Don't forget our very own Watson got an injury in his rookie year from doing just that. Damaged a shoulder, if memory serves?
