I would blitz every play on this drive. If you give up the big play, you at least should have time on the clock. No death by 1000 cuts (or 3 minutes).

Not really. Watson failed to execute the route the way he is supposed to. He has to try to avoid initiating contact. Jacobs probably gets open even if Watson just gets in the way instead of throwing a block. At worst, they throw the ball away and it's 3rd and goal from the 4.
Sometimes the calls are good and the players screw up.

I can’t believe that pussy played soft to start the drive. That’s the difference between the Lions and us. They have a depleted defense and they attack. We try not to fuck up by playing soft.
That first play fucking drives me nuts, there is zero pressure with rushing 4, backfield is a bunch of no names so just throw the kitchen sink, if they score on a big play, we get the ball back with time to score, it’s not that fucking hard to understand goddammit!!!!
