Win or lose, I feel better about the Packers' chances in the playoffs after this.

Love has looked poised and kept things together this half.

Really? The Lions are playing with backups. I know we're missing guys too but Alexander is never available and we can't rush the quarterback.

The current Packer ORGANIZATION simply has NO CLUE when it comes to constructing a defense that might allow the team to reach another Super Bowl.

34 Philly, 31 Minny, 34 Detroit.

When the going gets tough, we all know the Packers D stops going.

Every Packer fan and every semi-knowledgeable NFL fan knew that GB would not stop Detroit on the final drive ... it is in the Pack's DNA.

And, after watching that MASH unit for the LIons tonigh, anyone using Packer injuries as an excuse for the Packers awful D can STFU.

We had this game, but it comes down to playcalling and execution, they were better

Kenny Clark was great, but the GB DEs aren't very good. I know we joke about Preston Smith a lot, but they could have used him to hold the edge on that 4th down run. Van Ness is done with an injury and the backups aren't very good either.

For a 7th round pick.

They need to go there, beating the lions is about playing grimy and letting the flags fall where they may. They're pushing the lines and boundaries at every opportunity, get that ugly and hope the final tally falls in your favor. Playing clean is playing into their advantage.

So, answer this, is it piss poor coaching or does Gute suck at drafting defense?

I mean, let's have some perspective. The Lions are 11-1 for a reason. They are good. They have the best OL in football, other than maybe the Eagles.

Gary and Van Ness aren't good enough to make a difference. The Lions high picks in the first round on the line are.

Other than that, do you really think the Lions want to see the Packers in the playoffs?

The Lions won because the converted 5 of 6 4th downs, and, as well as Christian Watson played otherwise, he had two huge negative plays. The fumble was poor ball protection in a situation where he wasn't going to gain any extra yardage and the OPI was him not being smart enough to know how to execute the pick play without getting called for it - he threw his shoulder into Joseph.
