I say this in all seriousness. I hope Jeffress comes out of this OK. He's had a lot of problems in his life with drugs of abuse. He seems like a great guy who has overcome a lot in his life, but this has to  be excruciating for him to go through.

I hope people remember these guys are human beings and not robots.

Maybe one one the most pathetic β€œI’m not saying. Im just saying” posts of all time.

My God that’s bad.

Hey.

I'm not saying it's over...but if it is....we're a year or 3 earlier than anybody thought this re-build would get us here.

It's October-fukking 20th and we're watching Brewers baseball.

It's been a GREAT year.

Now make history!

Just re-upping this. If this is it, this is the most fun I've had watching a Brewer team since the early 1980s. The early 1980s teams was loaded with Hall of Famers (Yount, Molitor, Fingers, and Sutton) and a lot of other stars (Cooper, Vuckovich, Simmons, Money, Oglivie, etc.). This team is different.

This team has no starting pitchers that would even start for that 1982 team and no obvious Hall of Famers (except Yelich if he has a few more years like this). They've overachieved to get here through CC treating every out as important.

Future looks bright with Burnes, Woodruff, Jimmy Nelson, and Davies poised to start and Knebel and Hader coming back for sure in the pen (and maybe Jeffress and a few others).

Cain, Yelich, Braun, Shaw, and Aguilar are all back.

β€œJeffress in the NLCS has pitched 4 and 1/3 innings and given up 4 earned runs and allowed 5 of 6 inherited runners to score.

The Dodgers have scored 18 runs in the series and 9 of them have crossed the plate with Jeffress on the mound”

You posted this right before asking people to remember he’s human and show forgiveness.

STFU.

So torn, if you’d told me that we’d be playing a game 7 at home b4 season I’d say yeah right. I expected regression from last year I really did. But now to see them play their asses off all year #1 seed to potentially now being done. Just sucks.

That said these young arms man these next next few years are going to be awesome.

Good post. That's baseball . The Brewers may lose this because of two pitches.

The thing that sucks is that I thought the same thing you did in 1982 when I was in 7th grade. Molitor and Yount were young superstars and I thought I'd be watching a lot of playoff Brewer baseball in the following 5-6 years. It didn't happen. The wild card gives them more of a chance now, but there are no sure things.

So what if I did? I didn't say that the fans should boo him off the field or scream at him in the parking lot tonight?

If it makes you feel better to troll me, that's fine. I've really enjoyed reading your posts over the years. You make a lot of great points and add a lot to the forum. I come here to vent and to share discussions with people who are as passionate about Wisconsin sports team as I am. Sure, I get emotional but that's why we are fans.

These LA pitchers are plenty good, but we have some pretty poor swings at some questionable pitches.  Hell of a time for a team slump.

Big bats just too quiet tonight

Cain is 2 for 4 with a double. Yelich is 1 for 4 with a HR and got robbed of a double on a great catch. They've hit. The Dodgers just made some plays.

Obviously, the Puig HR completely changed everything. Jansen is a borderline HOF pitcher. In 543 games he has a 0.89 WHIP - that's about the same as Hader. With a 4 run lead, facing a guy like Jansen gets that much harder.

Brewers have Yelich and Hader for at least 3-4 years. Bucks have Giannis for at least another 3 years. Packers have Aaron Rodgers for at least the for the foreseeable future.

Best time for superstar players on Wisconsin sports teams in my lifetime.

Need to translate that to the trophy cases.

The other 30 or so teams in each league have some good players too.
