Once again PHEW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Whew. I Just. Damn.
They have to stop abusing us.
In another note, how dominate have the starters been in the post season?
David Stearns.
Post game interview CC talked about meeting with pitching coach and general manager in deciding pitching assignments for series! David Stearns?
So do we get to go to bed before midnight tonight?
Hader is the dominant player in this series. He's definitely in the Dodgers' heads and striking out the two guys last night on 8 pitches only made that more clear. The Dodgers whole game plan is to play to avoid facing him. It was almost like they thought of Game 1 as a partial win because they knew they wouldn't have to face him in Game 2.
I have a colleague who did a ballpark tour this summer and has watched hundreds of major league games in person. He said that you can't appreciate how difficult Hader is to hit until you watch him from behind home plate. He said he's one of the 2-3 toughest guys to pick up the ball on that he's ever seen in person.
I don't think it's an understatement to say that Hader has a chance to be the greatest middle reliever in MLB history. He is incredible.
My ideal pitching today: Gonzalez (4 innings), Burnes (2), Knebel (1), Hader (1 or 2), Jeffress (0 or 1)
Fact: Brewers are first major league team to have three shutouts in six postseason games since the 1966 Orioles, also the 1905 New York Giants. First postseason shutout at Dodger Stadium of the home team since the 1983 NLCS vs. the Phillies.
Brewers entered this year's playoffs with ONE shutout in postseason history.
Mike Caldwell. 10-0.

One of the best things about moving to the West Coast. Sports over early.

Yeah, but it took me a long time to get used to am beer.
Does Gonzalez just like pitching from behind on every batter?
Is Woodruff warming up?
Gio 11 of first 15 pitches are balls.
Woodruff gets the next 4 innings.
Bad things happen when you don't throw strikes early in the count.
Got out of it...
not a good start to this one...
not too much damage on the scoreboard though.
bats at the top of the lineup have to come through tonight
Yup, big knockers gotta knock....Per Jerry Burns
These announcers don't have a clue. Peralta started several games for the Brewers this season. He is not a young arm who will become a starter, he is a starter. He also pitched a great game against the Dodgers in L A in July. Do your homework guys. You are a disappointment to Brewer fans.
Cmon get it back Freddie.
Dodged a bullet, can't keep doing that, can they?
If they had Neo they wouldnβt need to dodge them.
Freddie looks ready.
When the 3rd baseman is playing next to the 1st baseman why not just drop a bunt down the 3rd base line?
Nice pitching there.
Dodgers strike out a lot.
a score!
Arcia and Domingo, both in the minors a couple months ago.
Nails
cmon Cain and Yelich....whats up ?!? awful
I am glad the Brewers didn't spend an arm and an arm to rent Machado.
Schoop is worthless. Almost as much as Machadoπ€¨
well fk. Grandersons deep fly wouldve scored go ahead run had Arcia bunted Pena to 3rd
I love how these "old school" guys just hammer at the managers who go with the percentages when they get a chancel when it doesn't work, but downplay the other 5 times it works. It shows a complete lack of appreciation for statistics. The point is that it will work more often than not, but it's not going to work every time. It's not black and white.
