Nah. Clarification opportunity. Threads like these help define who's in the 'I'd rather be right than happy' crowd, the 'I only come here when GB loses' stoolpot crew, the 'I'm only here to cause problems' cabal and of course the pure dum crowd. Nice way to make use of the time off from games.
I thought the invention of fire was an accident waiting to happen.

I thought the wheel was for squares.

I thought the horseless carriage didn't have a leg to stand on.

I thought Sybil was full of herself.

I thought Albert Einstein was to physics what Norman Theismann was to football.

I thought the term was "a croc of sh*t" rather than "a sh*t in crocs".
I though Bishop would not be an adequate replacement for Barnett, but I don't think anyone is an adequate replacement for someone named Barnett. Thank goodness I can wear a Barnett jersey forever, no matter if he plays or not.

I thought we would suffer at CB until Al Harris returned.

I thought we would lose 1-2 games (net) due to special teams, especially punting.

I thought the DLine was absolute toast after Neal went IR. Seriously, I was looking at 8-8.

I thought that betting lines meant something (e.g. Giants by 13 over Cowboys)

I thought I would never have Packer tickets that I would have to sell to strangers.

I thought I would get that job in Appleton, but finished first loser.
I thought the Packers were in trouble after 3-3.

I thought Javon Walker was going to be an All-Pro after 2005.

I thought that Brett Bielema was going to fold again this year against IOWA.

I thought Ken Macha would be a good coach.

I was wrong.

I thought Sherman and TxA&M would suck again... they don't.

They have two quality wins this year including a home win vs OU. Sure they don't suck, but they folded in games just like his Packers team have including the OSU game where his QB Johnson look like Culpepper fumbling or throwing picks every time he touched the ball.
I, like some other posters have previously mentioned, was totally wrong about:

The Packers offense-was expecting something closer to "The Greatest Show On Turf". toobad
Cliffy-I've been trying to replace him for a couple of years now, and he has turned into the Energizer bunny. Sorry, Chad!
Bush-I thought this was the year he would finally lose a roster spot. I may have to nickname him "Cockroach" (they survive everything!).
Lang-I thought he would be starting this year, or at least be a primary backup.
The Packers defense-I expected them to be dominant, but was wrong about how they would accomplish that. After the first 4-5 games, I was also expecting them to be terrible the rest of the year.
Harris/Bigby-I think just about everybody was wrong on Harris. I never thought Bigby would've played this year.

Lastly, I would like to admit I was wrong about keeping Sutton...but I can't. If he had made the roster and then flamed out, I would admit my error; all the while cursing TT and MM. But since that didn't happen, we'll never know...
I thought Dallas, Houston, Cincinnati, San Diego and San Francisco would have better seasons. Oops.

I thought Chicago, Seattle, St. Louis, Oakland, Kansas City and Tampa Bay would have worse seasons. I'm a bit surprised they aren't at this point.

I thought that T.O. would not be able to find another NFL team to sign him and go to the CFL or UFL. Ochocinco obviously put in a good word for his boy.

I thought that Sam Bradford and Colt McCoy would have more trouble making the transition from NCAA to NFL. So far, so good.

I thought Michael Vick would still be a backup. Now, he's an early MVP candidate.
I thought Charlie Peprah was just a special teams guy.
I thought Desmond Bishop would be a liability.
I thought the offense would be a juggernaut out of the gate.
I thought the defense would struggle more than it has.
I thought the 49ers would be much better than they turned out to be.
I never saw Tramon Williams elevating his play like he has.
I didn't foresee the complete meltdown of the Queens happening so quickly.
I thought trading for Marshawn Lynch would be a good move.

I thought Chad Clifton had nothing left.

I thought the rash of injuries earlier in the season were going to leave us dead in the water.

I never thought Al Harris would be released, let alone Bigby being activated.

Sure as hell never saw anything for Starks other than IR this season.

Going back a couple years, I thought TT gave up way too much for CM3. Thought he overpaid for Woodson, too.
Ok, I was wrong about TOG for many years. (I corrected myself prior to the kickoff in the NFCC game in 07.)

I was wrong to think that James Jones was a superstar in waiting. (JC though, the hands he displayed his rookie season!!!)

I was wrong about the vikes, I thought they would end the season between 7-9 and 9-7, (sometimes it is good to be wrong.)

I was absolutely correct about the cowboys. I did not think for a second they were good enough to be a contender this year. (Talent is one thing, developing it, making it fit together...that is a whole nother story. Oh BTW Romo is nothing bout David Krieg revisited.)
I thought that taking 22 minutes of practice time in the pre-season wasn't a big deal.

I thought Jordy Nelson would play a key role in the passing game.

I thought the defense was toast.

I thought Dom Capers hair was real.

I thought Rodgers would have clearly shown himself the top QB in the game.

I thought respect didn't matter.

I thought Hawk would not do a positive thing all year.

I thought New Orleans would be dominant this year.

I thought that seven was a lucky number. Alas.

I thought we would beeyotch slap Washington and get beeyotch slapped by the Jets.
I was wrong thinking she was a good one to marry, (The first wife).

I was wrong to think the Bears D would suck.

I was wrong to think our offense would set all kinds of records this season.

I was wrong to think our defense was in complete shambles, (Thanks TT and Capers)!

I was wrong to switch over to gin and tonics at the Halloween party, (made the right choice on costume though).
I thought your sister would be better in bed.

I thought Bishop would be an instant target, but he's been a pleasant surprise. Not as good as Barnett, sure, but he's been a good fill-in.

I thought they'd miss Al Harris a lot, especially in the nickle.

I thought TT/MM wouldn't go in to the season expecting Jones to start at OLB.

I thought Lang would be the backup at RT.

I thought the D-line was toast when Neal went to IR.

I thought the fluffy Vampire craze had peaked.

I thought the offense would have to carry the defense.

I thought Tommie Harris would be a bust.

I thought KC would battle with Buffalo for the worst team in the league standing, and Saint Louis would be right there with them.
