If he’s been good at picking the talent for our team, he hasn’t been any good at picking the coaches to teach and lead this team and help it reach the heights its talent supposedly warrants.

This is TT’s sixth year and, for whatever reason, we are not an elite team. That alone makes him suspect. I also don’t think any GM should receive much credit for the players they select in the first round of the draft, unless they pick a player out of nowhere and the player becomes a star.

TT and MM obviously have faith in their depth at CB and OLB. I don't see it ... too many guys that wind up on the injury lists every year. Lee, Blackmon, even Al Harris who has missed a lot of games the past two years. At OLB Thompson has visited every specialist in the country.

Hopefully good fortune will smile upon the Packers this year on the injury front, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Raji is closer to bust than he is a solid pick at this point - and this is my point. I know, it might seem like fantasy football analysis to some of you, but when you dont produce a pass rush when you are playing outside of the nose like you are expected and are very inconsistent against the run when playing the nose (my take on raji), then you are not a solid pick and you are moving into Bust territory.

AJ Hawk is labeled as a bust by many here and has a much better resume than Raji. Yes, Raji is much younger (and bust labels arent tossed around often until year 3 - but if youre a top 10 pick IMO you need to get quality production out of them right away). Raji still hasnt shown that he is the game changer inside that we expected to get at #9 yet. Playing the nose wont produce big stats (played end last season), but he hasnt been collapsing the line yet either. Again, hopefully that begins to change. Sometimes it takes players in the NFL a year or two to figure out schemes ect. But sometimes they just never get it and never play up to expectations.

Hmmm, could you break down this paragraph a little bit ... i believe there are some problems that are a tad glossed over.
Example: Titans, good QB?

Young is an above average QB when he's motivated. When he has his head up his butt then he's reckless and a detriment to the team, but I feel like a good QB coach could reign him in. Mike Vick was the same way in ATL and look what having Andy Reid as a QB coach has done for him...he's passing like a legit QB. There are times that Young looks unstoppable, he's just inconsistent.

I think Young is average at best when he's motivated, but below average most of the time.
Based on his past coaching stops, I thought Caper's might have a second season slump.

I thought Bishop and Peprah would be toast in coverage.

I thought the game was the Vike's after the first quarter.

I thought the Vikings would continue to be a pest to the Packers this season. Though they still can by losing to CHI, NYG, PHI.

I was wrong when I thought Tauscher was indeed injured badly enough to be shelfed and now it's reported he might not have been. Wouldn't anyone else prefer Tauscher to be available as a contingency, let's say in late December if Beluga or Clifton go down? Same with Al Harris.

Is shelfing someone elves do in December?

Collins is closer to Bigby than he is to "the hair." Does any one think he may have been advised to sign because there was little to expect in the market? Thus revealing his true worth? Now that he signed, no one can point out he wasn't getting any offers. He ain't that good P'boi. Above average is where I see his play. Kind of like A.J. Hawk. These are the type of players you want on your team as long as they don't listen to too many fans.

No I was wrong for this one kento?

He's having a better year this year no doubt. At the time I think my assessment was accurate. I always contended he had more talent than his performance indicated. He is picking up his performance though. Polamalu is clearly the cream.
I could make the same statement TD. Turns out we were right about BJax. He's about to be replaced on run downs and returned to passing down duty where he belongs.

As far as the replacement, that's where I'm wrong. I'm stoked about Starks, but I thought the chances of him being ready to carry the load for this team were slim at best (as compared to acquiring someone). Starks has to continue to produce and stay healthy, but I'm hopeful.

I'll gladly eat that bit of crow.
Jackson is still going to play on early downs too.

He's not going to play all three downs all of the time. That was your idea, not MM's.

The only argument you were proven right on was the one between the voices in your head.

You might as well go "all in" on the crow, because if you don't think that TT considered all options (which included Starks) before he made his decision not to better the Seahawks offer then you have another one coming.
