Add on that he took 5 games off last year, and your talking about almost 1 year of time off for his antics. I'd say that's about right.

Whiners forums are a laugh riot right now. The NFL is biased against the 49ers, how dare they suspend a guy who does nothing but get into trouble with the law! I can't believe I forgot just how clueless these dopes are when the 49ers sucked and they had all vanished into thin air. I regret not savoring that beautiful run they had from '99 to 2010 more than I did.

What a shame that the Packers don't play them in week one again this season. A fully healthy Packers offense would easily hang at least 40 points on those clowns.

The NFL still doesn't get it right though. 9 games for Smith but he can be with the team. Gordon gets a season and can't come to the CLE facilities.
The Niners have their work cut out for them that's for sure. You could make a case that Bowman and A Smith were their two best players on D and neither guy will be available for over half the season
