"If you put your hand on a woman, then you're done in his book"
Donte Whitner on what Harbaugh told the team when he was on the team.
"You ask me how I feel about domestic violence. I can be very clear about that. If someone physically abuses a woman and/or physically or mentally abuses or hurts a child, then there's no understanding," Harbaugh said. "There's no tolerance for that.”
Harbaugh on local radio earlier this week.
So it was wildly odd today when Harbaugh went full scale "Due process, constitutional rights, 5th amendment" to the media in his presser today after McDonald practiced.
I say odd because we know that 50 to 75% of the roster was at Crazy Ray's party last weekend. I get that it's a bad spot for a coach to ask a team mate to bury a team mate.
But he drew this line himself, then backed it up. No tolerance. He's got his answer right in front of him. No one on the team is going to plead the 5th if they know what happened. A locker room ain't due process.
If Harbaugh doesn't demand answers after telling his team it's the one thing he'll never accept he's nothing more than a blow hard in an empty pair of Dockers. And his team is going to know he doesn't really stand for ****.
