After reading thru this topic, and after 2road games, seems like TimesFour has the season all figured out. Let’s get to the Draft already.

And I’m always amazed that the Packers apparently have sooo many good young players that the coaches just refuse to play. I mean, that one rookie that did that thing in preseason game 2 should be starting, IMO.

Case in point: Devonte Wyatt.  Ignored by the coaches most of last year. Wasted opportunities. Now, it seems the coaches have awakened. So it's not unreasonable to think the coaches are locked in on players who shouldn't be playing (Dillon.)

Possibly.  Also possible that he needed a year to gain strength, absorb the playbook, and practice against veterans to understand the difference between college and pros.  Do you think Jordan Love would have played as good as he has been in his 1st year?
I agree that Dillon seems to have peaked and is regressing.

+++++: Jordan Love threw three more TDs, in this game. Loved how Love wasn't really rattled against a good defense. Loved the change of pace Flea Flicker call on our 1st possession. Reed was solid. Wicks played well. Musgrave is going to be a star, for us. This game showed us and everybody just how bad the Bears are. TBSS.

-----: Joe Barry's soft run defense. That shit has got to go! 3rd and 20ish and the Falcons convert because our DBs were 25 miles off the line. This was a game we should have won. Poor run Defense and bad offensive execution let it get away from us in the 4th Quarter. Looking back at it, I would have let Carlson attempt that 57 yard FG, instead of punting. Injuries to Jenkins and Van Ness sucked. Not having our four best position players on the field, due to injuries, may have cost us the game. At risk of sounding like a viking fan, I'll add the refs to the negative. On those two plays that Dillon tripped over his feet, they marked the ball short of the line to gain. They were wrong. Dillon tripping over his feet is something he said he was working to avoid. Fix it, AJ!

This is, as many have stated, a foundational year for this young team. Losses are going to happen. I love the upside these young players bring to this team. Sit back and enjoy the ride. Also, the Packers have NEVER won two straight away games, to start their season EVER, in their history. After all is said and done, we are still tied for 1st place in the North. On to our home opener against the Saints! GO PACK, GO!!!

Since we're still bitching about stuff, does anybody else think Q Walker is playing poorly thus far? Nothing to put a finger on yet, but he seems to be playing slower.
To my eyes, anyway.

He was the only dude able to tackle Bijan all day on Sunday. He had a pick six and what should have been another. He’s actually a bright spot on this D.

What? He had 17 tackles versus ATL. I saw him hesitating a bit versus the B***s but he was a heat-seeker this past game

O sacks in 2 games.
TFL -  vs Bears 1, vs Falcons 0.
QB hits -  vs Bears 0, vs Falcons 1.

AJ Hawk used to have a lot tackles...

Of course, he does have the INT vs the Bears and has 1 PD in each game, and his total tackles have increased significantly compared to his first 2 games last year.

I'm not calling for him to be cut/replaced/traded ( ), but he hasn't looked as dynamic as I thought he would.
JMO.

He also wears the green dot now and calls the defense.

Rewatch the tape Timmy. You're missing a great game out there.

article on Packers bringing in 6 for workouts.    Interesting,

The Green Bay Packers apparently brought in six players in for workouts on Monday, following their one-point loss to the Atlanta Falcons. According to NFL reporter Aaron Wilson, the six players consisted of two running backs (Jerrion Ealy and Ellis Merriweather), one receiver (Thyrick Pitts) and three cornerbacks (Cameron Brown, Delonte Hood and Raschad Wildgoose.)

Could they bring in some defensive coordinators for workouts?

He's an ILB.  ILB's aren't primary pass rushers.  Best ILB in the game last year was probably Fred Warner.  He had 2 sacks last season as the all-pro ILB.  His career sack total?  7.5 in 83 games.  So about 1 every 11 games.  So Quay Walker's 0 sacks in 2 games is not concerning.

Does anyone even know how many pass rush attempts he's had so far?  Wouldn't expect many which how often I saw him in coverage.

This loss made me sick to my stomach.  I haven’t been able to look at football for a few days.  I don’t mind losing too much normally.  But to have the game won and completely collapse like this pisses me off so much.

This is a very young team.  My only positive is that hopefully they’ve learned a very big lesson.

That is the hope for the young players.  But an important part of the 4th quarter collapse was MLF.  Not sure he'll learn anything from that that he shouldn't have learned from numerous other late game fails.
