I watched most of the Bears game last Sunday and Justin Fields impressed me only when he got outside and extended plays. If the OLBs crash hard going for a big sack he will roll outside and buy himself an extra 5 seconds. Set the edge and keep it, the Bears don't have a Justin Jefferson.

Funny but when you're getting your ass handed to you maybe zone isn't working and adjustments need to be made.
Bill Scott said today that Bakh would not practice today after practicing Wed and planning on Friday. MLF said he will never ask Bakh to practice 3 days in a row. Nobody would.

I was as pessimistic as I could be guessing about Walker's and Nixon's shoulder injuries, and was proven wrong (apparently) in just a matter of days.
I'll do the same for Bak, and hope for the same result!
I think the Packers are trying to find a way to get him back on the field, but I suspect he is still having a fluid build-up or swelling problem. The only way he may be able to play at this point is to do walk-throughs on Wednesday, practice Friday, play Sunday.

He doesn't "have to". This is the teams plan and it's long term. LaFluer said he's going to be on a long term 2 on 1 off plan. Pretty much the Mercedes Lewis schedule.

How many catches and yards did Jefferson have in the second half? If I’m not mistaken, it was a pretty low number of yards (less than 40 on 3 catches.) Maybe the defense did make adjustments at halftime and secondary minimized blown coverages.
BTW - Vikes had two FGs in second half.
Hindsight is always 20/20… but signing an aging LT to a huge contract has turned out to be a bad idea.

Being at the game you could see that the defense definitively tightened things up at half time. WAY more aggressive and the safeties started doing their job to make sure Jefferson didn't run wild.

Pete Dougherty out with a column today (paywall) about what a financial disaster the contract has been for the Packers. The team has paid him about $54 million dollars so far and gotten about 6.5 games out of him and he thinks he gone after this year.
MLF has never lost back-to-back regular season games, so this one is in the bag.

We'll take what we can get, but it's going to be his x% versus someone else's 100% and then playing the better option. Sucks though since this might be permanent.
