Yep Goldie, Kamy had a great game.....I like how the number has gone from 2 1\2  down to 1.  i think the Badgers had their toughest game against Oregon...  although Arizona had a very good defense too. If the Badgers can clog up the middle they stand a very good chance, maybe lay Jackson back????  I see Wisconsin putting on a shooting clinic tonight and pulling away  in the second half....

my guess:

Wisconsin 72

Kentucky  65

                 GO BADGERS GO

I am repeating myself, but here goes...

  • Boxing out/defensive rebounding
  • Composure and patience on offense where Bucky plays its offensive scheme, including a lot of passing and an inside out game, most often with Kaminsky the man inside
  • High shooting percentage on whatever open looks the Badgers get.

Yeah, it makes sense Dekker is terribly important.  You look at Kentucky's height advantage and while Kaminsky should be fine, the next guy in line heightwise (Dekker) - well, there is a big height discrepancy there.

As to the Badger's players not playing that great a game, I am inclined to think it was more the excellent play and skill of the Arizona defense than it was subpar play of the UW offense.

There were very few decent outside looks that entire game, save Kaminsky and of course he is an aberration being a 7 footer with an inside game that has to be addressed.

Anyway, with my last post, my hope is that if the Badger's do those things, Kentucky is just not all that able to handle the patient, excellent passing offensive scheme.

Hoping anyway.

It's a superior athletic team of kids (no offense intended, but they are of course relatively young) against a system of play largely effective because of UW's overall veteran leadership - and of course Kaminsky.

I don't know, man.

I'm thinking if you get quantum mechanical about it, there is some finite probability that there is some state wherein water is indeed "not wet."

As to this game, I would rather Wisconsin play UConn, but I don't know!

UConn has looked really, really good for a few games now.

Iowa State with that injured player was definitely better tho, in my opinion.  Then again, I had a lot of love (read: brackets) for Iowa State.

Oh, and if I could have any coach after Bo Ryan, give me the Iowa State coach.

Indubitably.

I guess that's why people are moving from there to here.

10 reasons why so many people are moving to Texas....

I think it's the religious and cultural tolerance.

Digression, but I actually lived in Dallas area for 5 years ~5-10 years ago.

Now, I despised Michael Irvin more than just about any football player.

I came to actually thinking he's a really cool guy and the Dallas media really cool as well.  They roasted Jones something fierce.  One I think it was a Sunday night (big) regular season game against the Packers, they asked this media guy who was once part of the Cowboy organization (can't remember who he was) and he was so gracious.

He said the Packers with their history is basically untouchable from the standpoint of prestige.

Anyway, I came away with a highly changed sense of Dallas sports.
