Damn, you're dumb. Colts only had 63 yards rushing against us.

And the reason Fleener caught the ball and they moved it? We rested our starters including our six foot four cover two MLB.

Great. The Packers will have more than 63 yds rushing and they wont even be pretending to try.
Bears fans are retards - just read this in the Chicago trib: Bears fans retarded
From the article:
"I posted a video on the Tribune website Monday that said something similar, which prompted a response from a fan claiming to be a season-ticket holder in the north end zone. The fan emailed that Cutler “waved to the crowd to make noise.’’ No lie. This cheering nimrod saw Cutler make the universal sign for quiet -- arms waving, hands palms-down -- and still believes the Bears quarterback was asking for noise because it might have something to do with disrupting the Colts’ defensive communication. Seriously. That’s what this emailer wrote Monday."
"This is Bear Week. This is the oldest rivalry in the NFL. It's a grudge match and...is always played like a title game."
Jerry Kramer, 1967

"Boy, I'm getting a Bear itch. I'm getting ready. I don't get excited very often...but I'm sure excited now. Boys, I hope you are too."

Fleener, 3 catches for 51 yards in 1st half. Nice start for a rookie TE from a rookie QB. Get a vet TE working with the current league MVP and that spells trouble for the Bears defensive middle.

Oh, stop it with your facts and figures. BearGeek will lose his Marshall chub.

Congratulations - the Bears actually improved a position on their team for the
first time in a practical eternity. Woo-hoo.

MM's pretty good after a poor performance. Pack 38 - Marshall's 20.

Case you haven't noticed the job of an NFL fans non-stop never ending whining about ref's was actually taken by Viking fans years ago. Few fans of any other team can come close to that or ever will.

It's not just Brandon Marshall. Obviously, that addition took the headlines, but this Bears' team is deeper and more talented than it has been in years.

You may win tomorrow. I worry about Urlacher's effectiveness and you guys are pissed and at home (5.5 point favorites here in Vegas seems about right to me), but it will definitely be tougher sledding than our last meeting (sans Cutler, Forte, Marshall, Jeffery, etc.). Barring injury, the Bears will be right there with you all year.

Looking forward to a great season and an excellent game...see you Friday Smiler.

B-N-D
Is this the prediction thread? Well, OK...

27-13 Bears. McGinn was right on in his preseason piece and C-Boy had a weird feeling about this year (no link). Team just hasn't seemed right since it got cold last year.

Hope I'm wrong and am excited for a fun gathering to watch the tilt on Thursday.
Between living in Chicago and the doom and gloom here, I’m pretty much being told I should pick up my 2013 draft guides while making plans to avoid the parade downtown in February. Jay’s going to take the league by storm with this new concept of changing the play after it’s been called, and he’s rather cocksure now that he’s got a pair of WRs who don’t need a step stool to wash their hands at the sink. Rodgers, meanwhile, has been downright Gabbertian since Kansas City exposed his Kryptonite for all the world to see. What 8 days ago was going to be a great measuring stick for where both teams are to start the year has turned into an inevitable slaughter the Pack may as well not even show up to.

I sure as hell hope the team is hearing half as much of this as I am and plan to remind the world that the second best offense in league history didn’t happen by chance. I won’t pretend there aren’t question marks on both sides of the ball, but I’m just going to trust there will be more answers for a pissed off Green Bay team when all is said and done.

34-24 Packers
Yes, hard to get extremely high after beating down lap dog Indy. BUT, in years past those types of games would more than likely be slugfests for the Bears. Cutler would have been sacked at least 5 times and he would have had at least 3 meltdowns. Knox and Hester would have dropped at least a couple of passes each. The D would have made a TD or two and Hester would have come up big in return game (TD or two). Gould would have been relied upon a great deal. It is/was Lubbie's plan to get into FG range and put the game on the D.

This year there is a change. The O has some fire power and can play shootout. The run game can be effective as well. It will be a different type of game. No more 7 seven drops, Cutler can audible and there are some real WRs on the team now.

I believe it could be close and I would bet there will be over 50 combined points scored.

And last year, and the year before that when they failed sign Marshawn Lynch, and the year before when favre played for the Vikings, and the year before when Favre was traded, and the year before when TT didn't sign enough free agents, and ... (sorry, no links)
Po-Cutler will un doubtedly be sacked five times. Our oline is just as terrible and prone to mistakes. Need I recall the first three plays of the Colts game?

1. Sack
2. False Start
3. Bumbled snap on shotgun.

They are pathetic.
It won't be an easy game. Never is when it comes to the Bears.

But the Packers still have the Bears' number, 7-1 in the last 8 matchups.

I'll call a 23-21 victory with the Packers defense getting a surprising stop when the Bears are trying to run their 2 minute drill for a FG.
So, as an objective third party, I have a couple of observations:

1. Packers are tired of the "demise" talk and will be motivated.

2. They are at home

3. The defense was so "terrible" but still won 15 of 17 games last year.

4. The Bears have a better rushing game. Can they use it effectively to keep Rodgers off the field?

5. Urlacher is playing but he is overrated

6. Jennings loss can be overcome by Jones/Cobb.

7. Packers are the more desperate team for a win.

So,... It seems to me that Packers get back on track with a solid win.
If we've leaned anything from the Giants and 49'er games, it's that GB better bring a higher level of intensity tomorrow night than the Bores. Chicago is coming to GB with serious plans of going 2-0. GB has to beat those plans down from the start.

How do we get back the physicality on defense that we had in 2010?

Url is just getting old. The overrated comment is hilarious though. I guess when he gets to Canton he will still be overrated.

Deep I agree the oline is sad, but with Martz and his 7 step drops and his rigid play calling gone, that helps Cutler tremendously. I would hope the screen game will come to play this game.

Now I love Jennings, but we have Jones and Cobb to fill the gap and I really do not see missing Jennings will be significant enough to be THE cause of a Packer's defeat. We need defense and/or a running game.

Since I'm a homer - Packers win by 10.

BTW - I want to see that "meaness" that we all heard about all pre-season regarding the defense.
Jennings opens up everything for Jordy, Jones, Finley, and Cobb. This offense isn't the same when he's not playing. It just isn't.

Going to make a tough job tougher. No excuses. Win.

Matt Flynn threw 6 TD's without Jennings in the lineup. Rodgers threw 5 TD's vs. the Bears without Jennings in the lineup.

This offense can function just fine without Jennings. Does it function easier? Probably, but don't discount Cobb, Jones & even Driver.

The Packers have no excuse. I'm getting a little unhappy with how they're playing in Lambeau too. Can't lose this game. Gitterdone.
The Bears have a tough run defense as evidenced by their performance -vs- IND. So waiting until they (GBP) have a big lead before running the ball is pretty obvious. Damn, some people are dumb.
If Cutler passes as well as he did againt Indy the Packers will give up huge yards and points and have to depend on the offense to bail them out, just like last year.the Bears defense isnt the Niners so I have it 34-24 Packers.
