The Badgers have a national championship level defense.  No real weaknesses across the board.  Some of their guys like Leo Chenal and Nick Herbig are only going to get better.

Offensively,  they miss the consistency and reliability of Taylor.   And we saw what happens when your top WRs don’t play.  The good news is Berger and Dike and obviously Mertz are very talented and should get better with more practice and reps.

But that’s the theme this year in the Big Ten.   Experience matters.  Look at Indiana.  A lot of juniors and seniors on that team. Northwestern’s D same thing.  On the flip side, Michigan has talent but a lot of youth.  The Buckeyes D turned over a lot of players as did the Gophers.

It should be interesting this week playing Minnesota. The Gophers are the opposite of the Badgers.  Lots of proven talent and experience on offense for MN but their defense is young and has given up a lot of points.  For UW, the defense has been lights out but offense has been up and down.
