Yeah, I just think it comes down to stats at time for some kids--they know if they go to a school that runs the spread they are going to get to sling it around (like Wash. State or Texas Tech).  But yeah a place like Wisconsin really truly can prepare them for the pro offense.  I also wonder if there is that tradition of great college running backs that maybe the QBs feel like they aren't the focal point at Wisconsin?  There isn't the tradition of "awesome" QBs coming out of Madison...

From what I have read on Bucky's 5th quarter, we have some awesome QB recruits this year.   I think kids are figuring it out.  Regardless, many Bucky QBs have made a career of backups lately....

And in no way do I mean this as a slight to any Badger QBs, but at times this program seems to have great seasons in spite of the QB.  Look how good they did with QBs like Mike Samuel, Brooks Bollinger, Stocco, Sorgi, Tozien, Bevell...all good to decent, but not the WOW QBs that would be awesome to have...

Imagine if they had a few more Russell WIlson's at times...

It may be because coaches know they are familiar with a pro style offense and they can come in and at least not screw things up too badly.

Good to hear about the potential recruits.
