Hey goofball, my reply was to TSCHMACK who said an undefeated Badger team would be left out in favor of a 1 loss team. And look now, the Badgers are #4. Barely ahead of Notre Dame in the AP but also nearly #3 in the Coaches Poll. Win out and we are in. Also don't penalize the Badgers for who is on their schedule. Except for a couple of early non-con games they have no control over who the opponents are.
Regarding the grins on the Badger players with the trophy, I don't think 99 is a kid. I would be reluctant to have him play with the Grand Kids fearing he might fall the rong way. The Badgers gave up 4 turnovers with two being for TD's that kept the score close in what was a blow out against a team that did a beat down on OSU the week prior.
You knew Iowa wouldn't have been able to repeat that same performance this week against Wisconsin. It's really difficult week after week to keep the kids grounded and focused. Look no further than O$U. They got worked but completely dismantled M$U. Where you play also makes a huge difference. Home field can be worth 2-3 TDs alone depending on the opponent. Notre Dame and Georgia and Michigan State found that out yesterday. Michigan won't be easy but sure glad they are playing in Madison as...
They do look like crap....IMO every time a team on the Badgers schedule loses it hurts the Badgers. MIch losing devalues a Badger win over them. JUst my opinion. I have no love for either of these teams. None.

For the less informed Badger fans like me, can anyone explain what the attraction is to Hornibrook? His arm looks pitifully weak, he is as elusive as a 40-year old coming off major knee surgery, he seems to panic in the pocket, he has trouble making even simple throws, and he gets picked off way too often.
Think most teams want to shut down the Badger running game and make Horni beat them but most teams can't do it as effectively as OSU. Needed really a stellar game from Horni and it wasn't there. Can't ask for much more than two possessions at the end of the game only down by six.
And in no way do I mean this as a slight to any Badger QBs, but at times this program seems to have great seasons in spite of the QB. Look how good they did with QBs like Mike Samuel, Brooks Bollinger, Stocco, Sorgi, Tozien, Bevell...all good to decent, but not the WOW QBs that would be awesome to have... Imagine if they had a few more Russell WIlson's at times...
