Re: Playoffs
So if Wisconsin wins the next 2 weeks and Penn State wins the next 2 weeks and Ohio State beats Meeechigan Badgers and Penn State play for the Big Ten Championship. How sweet would that be? Can a 2 loss Badger team leap a 1 loss Ohio State for the playoffs?

Re: Playoffs
See, Badgers still get NO respect. A 2 loss Penn State makes the playoff if they win the BIG 10 but a 2 loss Badger team is replaced by Ohio State if Bucky wins the Big Ten. Talk about bullschit!!!!!!!!!!!!!! https://www.landof10.com/big-t...wisconsin-penn-state

Highest rated ex-Badger who would look really good as a Packer is Dave Aranda.

How the hell is that a penalty? He was out of the box as a runner. What is the Badger defender supposed to do, stop in mid air? You can't call that penalty in a game with CFP implications. You just can't!!!! Horse **** call.

Re: Kool-aid Man's packets vs. McCarthy's dreamers
VB was a fine college player and a great Badger. A bit of an overachiever perhaps looks like his talent level has leveled.

Re: Kool-aid Man's packets vs. McCarthy's dreamers
He was a high effort player in college. He was better at setting the edge than he was as a pass rusher (He was projected in the 6th round and TT took him in the 4th. I think he might have been adequate as an end of the roster type special teams player/emergency linebacker. The problem was he was somewhat limited athletically and then he had surgery on both his feet last year. He probably lost a bit of explosion and lateral movement, and he didn't have much to spare as it was.

Re: New Mexico Lobos @ Bucky
Some coaches would sit a back after fumbling, particularly if he has a fumbling history. The Badger staff seems to be taking the opposite tack, keep running him till he drops and dare him to drop it again.

Re: Best Badger RB of all time
I'd have to compare the OL they had to run behind too. The problem is that they were all good. Dayne got to run behind Tauscher, Chris McIntosh, Casey Rabach, Aaron Gibson, and Bill Ferrario Gordon got to run behind Kevin Zeitler, Travis Frederick, Rob Havenstein, Ricky Wagner, and Tyler Marz Taylor had Ramcyzk and a bunch of other guys that will be good pros. Amazingly enough, Joe Thomas, the best OL in Badger history and one of the top 5 left tackles in NFL history never had a great RB...

I’ll bet Brian Calhoun sends him a Christmas card every year, though... dude got picked in the second round and I don’t think he started 15 games in his career.

Re: Best Badger RB of all time
Peyton Hillis made the cover of Madden 2012 because of him. Joe Thomas is definitely on the short list of the best NFL players to never play in a playoff game, certainly after the 1970 merger if not all time. Didn't miss a snap in something like 10 years. First team All-Pro 9 years in a row (2nd team as a rookie). The team was 10-6 but didn't make the playoffs his rookie year, then they never went 500 again. He got hurt in his 11th year after 7 games and the team went 0-16. His last full...

Re: Best Badger RB of all time
Just think about some of the other "lesser known" backs that actually had decent seasons (if not careers) behind those Badger OLines: Carl McCullough in 93-97 Anthony Davis in 01-04 P.J. Hill in 06-08 John Clay in 07-10 Corey Clement in 13--16 It's always the OLine--not that the RBs haven't been talented, but the OLines have made een the "guys" look good at times. Heck, even Booker Stanley, Taiwan Deal, and Eddie Faulkner had good games behind those lines. Matt Bernstein had to play the...

Re: Three Guys
Claypool is the kind of swiss army knife player that would really excel with Rodgers. Rodgers hasn't had that type of guy since Finley maybe, every TE he's had except maybe Sternberger has been more of a traditional inline guy. Safety could be a wildcard on Day 1 or Day 2 honestly. I've seen some discussion they could decide to bring in another FS to go opposite Amos and let Savage be more of a Honey Badger role that plays FS, OLB, NB, etc. With his speed and instincts I think he could...

Re: Bucky vs. O$U for the Big Title
So big stories on social media today about the game tomorrow. If you believe vividseats, stubhub, etc. OSU will have a crowd advantage of up to 93% tomorrow. That of course is just tickets on the secondary market so who knows what the actual ratio will be. I just hope Badger fans show up and I am not outnumbered 50-1 by OSU fans all weekend. I am headed to Indy soon so hopefully I get to see a team win tomorrow! F'em Bucky!!

Failed fourth down play represents the Badger second-half offense quite well.

Re: Bucky vs. O$U for the Big Title
Except that many plays were well designed and OSU just had too much talent. That 4th play was just stupid design. A sweep into the same direction of the jet sweep?

Re: Heisman Trophy...........really??
You knew that when JonathanTaylor received the Doak Walker award, (the equivalent of the Miss Congeniality award), the committee was not going to give him the Heisman, too. After 3 solid years as a Badger, Taylor has a much more solid resume than the other 4 players ranked above him in the Heisman rankings. More Wisconsin Badger disrespect, IMO.

Re: Heisman Trophy...........really??
The Heisman is awarded for a player's performance in a given year, not his full collegiate resume. No way Taylor outperformed Burrow.

Re: Way early look at draft
Apparently, there's a few really good MLB's coming out this year. Kenneth Murray out of Oklahoma, Dylan Moses out of Alabama and Curtis Weaver out of Boise State top the list. For you Badger fans, Zach Baun is ranked decent as well. For you Arizona lovers, the entire team sucks and there isn't a draft prospect to speak of.

Saw some good comments by Badger beat writers on Twitter on why Potter wasn't in at the end. Mainly him getting beat on defense and having two bigs would not have been a good idea with Maryland's pick and roll game.

The Badger wings have had P&R opportunities with the big diving to the basket about 10 times in this half and haven’t delivered a single pass to the open man.
