Taylor is flat out impressive. Just as Hornibrook was pissing away the game he seized control and pounded them into submission.
The big uglies are rounding into form as well
Well, another bloodying of Nebraskaβs nose. Iβd love to know if any team the FBS has ever run for as much as the Badgers have run for against that program.
Taylor is special. He sees everything. He has such a sneaky burst. He makes Shaw, who I was excited about, look pedestrian. Taylor is on Barkleyβs talent level, IMO. Heβs a true freshman??? Heβs going to ya e his name on the facade of Camp Randall when itβs over.
Defense was a lot like last week- bend but donβt break, force turnovers, make the other team earn it. Pass rush came on the second half, secondary looks better each week.
7 pages for a Badger game
And only one Eeyore.

With a little editing I agree.

You know, tbh, I hadn't even thought of that...
I don't think Bucky gets enough exposure for that to happen, but if he keeps cranking out 200+ games, he will stay in the 'mix'.
+Keep up the good work TOAD!!!! Your winning streak is impressive.

Of all the posts in this thread, this may mean the most to me!
Thanks Ammo. I have no matter in reality, but I am glad to have a place to share my fandom for Bucky and give opportunity for a community to share...

But this is not the film to show to prospective WR and QB recruits.
Qb's? We don't need no stinkin qb's
To be fair, the program has done OK with Hornibrook and StavΓ©. And Sorgi before them.
The program has done better than OK - UW is an established top 20 program and has been for almost 25 years now. They've cracked the top 10 several times.
The problem is the QB position is and has prevented them from becoming a legit NC contender. They had it one year with Russell Wilson. That's it.
The good news is Chryst will find a way to extract the most out of what they have but it does get a little frustrating at times. If not for Taylor I'm not sure Hornibrook would have gotten them the W. Thankfully that wasn't the case as the running game took over and helped them get a tough win.

The announcers were going on and on about how Hornibrook was never throwing more than 10 yards downfield.
The problem is nobody's going to remember you for being ranked but never close to a national championship. Unless they remember you for bad things like the second half of the B1G championship game last year.
Great win and a lot of fun. Didn't take a deep breath until the late turnover.
What happened to Jazz Peavy? Big drop and I saw him miss a couple blocks. Dude needs a slumpbuster.
Badgers move up to #7 in the latest AP Poll. And #6 in the Coaches Poll. And we will keep moving up week by week.
F'UM BUCKY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Keep winning and they can move up. Penn State plays MSU, Mich and OSU in the next 3 weeks (not in that order). They should/could lose at least one.
Penn State sure looks like the team to beat in the Big Ten. Their team speed and athleticism is right there with O$U. The next three weeks are tough for sure.
The only thing separating Wisconsin from the Bucks and Nitt Lions is the QB play. Hornibrook has been wildly inconsistent and with that running game they don't need him to be Dan Marino but he has to play better than the last two weeks.
Hornibrook needs to watch some tape of Bevell playing QB. If he can do what Darryl did they can go a long way as long as the running game stays as good as it seems to be. .
I just do t think he has the arm. I donβt remember Bevell having a cannon, but he could throw downfield. Hornibrook just does not have the arm strength. A lot of college QBs have a similar problem- they throw too late. But if their arm is strong, they get away with it. Hornibrook seems to throw late a lot- but he doesnβt have the strength to compensate.
He looked great at BYU- but thatβs the only game I think heβs been good. With Clemson and WSU losing last night, the path is wide open. I just donβt know if I believe in Hornibrook in a βif they stack to take Taylor out of the game can he beat themβ kind of way.
And El asked about Peavy- what in the world has happened to him. He seems lost- drops, fumbles, doesnβt seem to get open anymore. Cephus and Davis seem to have passed him. Is he hurt?
Stave had a cannon, but threw late.
Horni's arm is OK, he is usually on time, but he throws short. It might be the way Chryst coaches QB's too.
It does appear Jazz is dinged
