Best way to fix the defense is stop any tight end picks across the league after the 2nd rd.  This will reduce the pressure to take a safety.

If it comes down to Mosley and Razier, I wonder what way Ted would go. I don't think he could go wrong with either choice because both upgrade the position.  Don't want to see Wilson running wild in the first game of the year and having one of those LBs in the middle would help.

Russell Wilson will never get outside of Clay & Peppers unless those 2 get tackled by the Seattle O-Line.

I think the most surprising factor of the Packer defense this year will be the inside rush by the D-Line. It won't matter who is playing the middle. Our D-Line & our DB's will mask that deficiency.

AJ Hawk = Accountable & available.

Get back in your hyperbaric chamber.... now!

I'm trying not to go overboard with the defense next season, but I like what I'm seeing so far.  Hayward and Worthy will be back at full speed for starters and then we have a few players that can make that proverbial big leap from year 1 to year 2 in Datone Jones, Micah Hyde and even Josh Boyd.  Toss in a few special players like Matthews and Peppers, a very good group of CB's and you have something to work with.  Just gotta get that S and MLB prospect to put the cherry on top.

If Mosely and Shazier are both there, a trade down could happen.

Nobody has any idea what TT is thinking, but my guess today would be Shazier if they think he can hold up inside.

Center Weston Richburg, Colorado State

I hope TT trades up to get one of the guys that we all think will be gone.  Since that's not an option here my shocker pick is Center Weston Richburg form Colorado State.  Richburg is actually my hope for the Packer's 2nd round but I'm not sure he'll fall quite that far (trade up, Ted).  Richburg is going to be a solid Center in the NFL for the next decade.

Whatever TT does, I think it needs to be a solid contender and be ready in 2014.  The Packers have not declined but I don't see them closing the gap between them and the Seahawks or 49ers.

Apparently there are some that feel GB can simply plug in anyone at center and the machine will run itself. Me and Jeff Saturday don't necessarily agree with that sentiment. But whatever.

I'd like to see an interior guy like Richburg in the second. But he has to play and he'd better be hell on wheels.

I think Tretter will be fine at C.

Draft defense &/or skill positions in the first 2 rounds please.

A trade down from #21 would be great. 3 picks in round 2 or a high 3rd would be excellent!

I really don't think they value interior OL higher than R4. Jason Spitz is the only interior OL they have taken before R4. I think they intended for Colledge to be the heir apparent at LT when they took him in R2 so I don't think they necessary valued him strictly as an interior OL. Considering they have what they believe to be a viable option at Center and they don't normally select interior OL before r4 I find it hard to believe Richburg will end up in GB. It's not impossible though.

Tretter doesn't excite me, but I suppose we're all mostly guessing on him as we haven't really seen much of him.

I know Richburg doesn't fit the TT model of drafting, he's just my hometown guy.  He is good and I do think he'll be a value pick for someone in the 2nd round.  I don't really have my hopes up.  It pays to never have your hopes up early in a TT draft.

If TT goes OT in the first round I sure hope he doesn't have a dog though.
