Agreed. I really thing UW doesn't want to waste the new guy's redshirt. This is also some quality rep time for Coan to build up some confidence and repertoire with his receivers.
I would be shocked to see the kid in the 2nd half.
I dont know the politics of the situation or the promises made but I would think the kid came to play, not to sit for a year
You are correct, none of us know. But as much as anyone thinks he may have come to UW to play right away, he also may be more than fine having a year to watch, learn, and grow.
I really enjoy the shifts and motion of this offense.
