ESPN just reported that Rodgers has a terminal case of warts. TOG is now on a jet heading to Green Bay.

Now if I was being sarcastic I would suggest that Rodgers has that same stomach flu that a bunch of Packers players have come down with. McCarthy even made some nice bathroom humor on the subject.

MM said he knew that Lacy was getting over the flu after he visited the men’s room just after Lacy finished using it.

Lol I swear the roads of Greenbay are Poo. They're the most bumpy n cracked roads. Never a smooth ride. My shocks take a beatin

Seems like a good guy but that's just a bad play. Injuries happen and you never know what TT thinks of your potential. Don't make it easier for him to cut you.

  1.

MM: Andy Mulumba has a knee injury. Just blew up in meetings. Going through tests. Not sure of his availiability with Seattle.

Of our last 7 first draft picks only Raji  and Perry are currently on the field. If I said 1rst rounders I would have to remove Nelson(2nd rounder) and then add Clay(1rst but after Raji).

D. Jones - ankle

Perry - Available

Sherrod - Leg

Bulaga - knee

Raji - Available

Nelson - knee
Harrell - soul

Family of Derek Sherrod explains what we all had kinda figured out already...

"When they tried to put him out there, they noticed that he couldn't put the weight on his leg," said Louis Sherrod. "Then they had to do MRIs and scans to find out why his leg was shaking uncontrollably. They discovered that he had an ankle problem.

"They didn't even know that he needed another surgery until this spring. All of last year was wasted. That could have been from complications from the first surgery, but it was something that was left undone.

"They couldn't figure it out ... that his bones did not heal right together."

I think it's about time to give Sherrod his injury settlement and move on. It looks like he's pretty much toast, and we don't know if he was going to be any good even if he was 100% healthy, which there's a good chance he never will be.

What do you mean " We" ?

His coaches say he was playing well before the injury and his GM says he will play this year.

Wasn't just the coaches, others on the OL noted his progress before the break. If what his family is saying is true it sounds like a really tough break (no pun) with the slowed/difficult recovery from the 1st surgery. Mike Flanagan missed all of the '96 and '97 seasons after his leg break and made it as a pro-bowl center in in 2003. There is little cost to the Packers with keeping Sherrod on the PUP for now, or even to the IR if he still needs time.

That's because Flacco is white & has no rhythm.

Joking people.,....it's a JOKE!

Back to Sherrod....

That leg fracture takes a long time to heal unless you're using HGH or Deer Antler Spray. FYI...Sherrod was playing well when he got hurt. I remember

This list is really sad. That is some bad luck.

How much is the cost?

I hope Sherrod can get healthy but this is looking like the guy will be lucky to walk without pain, much less play in the NFL.

Hope you're right. But I wouldn't count on it. Sometimes a player has a catastrophic injury and never comes back. And again, I don't even know where he would be coming back to.

Did anyone read the JSO story on Sherrod? Apparently he is working out and running and expects to be playing again shortly.

I would put a link to the story but JSO is aggressive trying to add some software to my computer and will not let me into the web page if I refuse the update. They need to stop doing that, there are some very evil virus and malware (rootkit virus) just developed that get into your computers that way.

He was a question mark before the injury and a bigger one since. I see a medical redshirt for this year and start fresh next with a full camp so the team can fully evaluate what they have in him.

I don't get the desire some posters seem to have to kick a former 1st round pick to the curb.

Personally, I think he'll be given a chance to succeed or fail ONCE HE'S READY TO GET ON THE FIELD.  And it's obvious, given what's transpired, that GB will give him the chance to heal correctly.

At worst, the Packers would likely keep Sherrod for the length of his contract. Past history indicates this, most recently with Bustin.

Assuming there's substance to the "family report", it likely would make the team that much more inclined to let him play it out.

My thinking was the same as antiworst, that if he was going to wind up on IR again, perhaps it was time to move on, and negotiate an injury settlement. But thanks to the info Hungry provided, it doesn't hurt to keep him whatever the case is. His cap cost isn't exactly anything to sneeze at, but the ultimate affect is minimal.
