Jerry Kramer and Bart as honorary captains
Any team they could have gotten this weekend would have been cake (Albeit DAL is definitely the toughest.) Just plan smart and stay healthy. Today's QB Duel was like a rap battle between William Hung and Rebecca Black.
BRING 'EM ON!!!
Road Star, Best Western isn't hooker freindly.
The only question is how badly does the NFL want to have Dallas win and can the Pack overcome the bad calls. Detroit couldn't, but I think the Pack will.
Captain Obvious here, but everything hangs on Rodgers playing the entire game and the O-line continuing its stellar performance.
Although if I could have one wish it would be to have Wayne Simmons back for this game. Would love to see Witten hammered at the line and Tony wilt even faster without his blanky.
I'd be worried about the idiots in the zebra stripes helping the Cowboys pull out another one.
Just how does this fixin stuff work?
Dez Bryant acting a fool after the game. Really hope our DB's manhandle him.
Carter exited that game with what looks like a hip. Hardly one to cheer injuries, but if he's either out or less then 100% fine by me. He's a pretty good LB.

I'm always worried about that.

If Bart's health allowed it you know this would happen.
So make it Jerry and Ken Bowman instead.
Jesus ****. Are we really going to start chewing our fingernails off all week about the ****ing refs?

Three things to know about next Sunday's Dallas Cowboys-Green Bay Packers NFC divisional round playoff game at Lambeau Field (1:05 p.m. ET, FOX):
1. Rodgers vs. Romo: No two quarterbacks had better years than Aaron Rodgers and Tony Romo. They had the NFL's top two passer ratings and Total QBRs this season. Romo narrowly edged Rodgers in both categories -- 113.2 to 112.2 in passer rating and 82.7 to 82.6 in Total QBR. Romo also led the league in yards per pass attempt at 8.52, while Rodgers was second at 8.43. Rodgers had the edge in touchdown passes (38 to 34) and also threw fewer interceptions (five to Romo’s nine).
2. Packers vs. Romo: Although Romo has cut down on his interceptions, it wasn't long ago that he made two major mistakes against the Packers. Last Dec. 15, the Packers picked off Romo twice in the final four minutes of their 37-36 victory at AT&T Stadium. Sam Shields made a backpedaling interception on a pass Romo threw that was behind Miles Austin, and then Tramon Williams made a diving interception that clinched the victory in a game that Rodgers missed because of a broken collarbone.
3. Playoff history: Yes, the Packers have the Ice Bowl to hold over the Cowboys, but the more recent playoff history between the two teams has been all Dallas. Three straight years in the 1990s, the Cowboys knocked the Packers out of the postseason -- in 1993 and 1994 in the NFC divisional round and also in the NFC Championship Game following the 1995 regular season. They haven't met in the playoffs since then. It will be the first Packers-Cowboys playoff game in Green Bay since that historic NFL Championship Game on Dec. 31, 1967.

Apparently.
Dear Dom, don't leave Dez in single coverage...and don't let Hawk try and cover Witten
please

Perfect. A showdown between the 2 MVPS. Also, I hate the refs as much as the next guy. However, an elite team NEVER puts itself in a position where the a ref call will dicatate whether you win or lose. NEVER.
Awful reffing in an NFL football game?
I for one am shocked.
Detroit had time to overcome it-----unlike the Fail Mary game.
Detroit scored 3 points in the second half. clutch
Critical false start on Calvin Johnson, stoopid personal foul on a late hit to the head, and let's not diminish a 10 yard shank from Martin.
Lot's of dumb mistakes by the Lions that led to that loss. For a team removed from Schwartz, those fingerprints still linger.
I swear to God, if the Cowboys take out Mike Daniels or Clay or Peppers like they did John Jurkovic the schit should hit the fan.
Can't believe [catts] has not posted by now. Maybe she passed?

catts is dead. Any post you see from her is actually her ghost. Replying or quoting any ghost posts is horrible bad mojo.

That was twenty freakin' years ago, man.
NFL Network = Jerry's whores!
Most of America will be rooting for the Pack next week.
I feel good about this. Gonna be fun.
detoilet and dallass made each other look good for awhile but neither team is very good. and when I think about how the GBP just handled detoilet's front 7 the other week and that dallass's front 7 isn't as good as detoilet's, I just look forward to dancin' in the streets after the victory.
bring it - game time temp below 20 the way it looks at this point.
Don't care if it was 20 years ago. I can see that play like it happened yesterday. Packers were ahead and controlling the game. When they chopped Jurko the game completely changed. Payback for that comes Sunday. I don't mean anything dirty, just an ass whoopin.
Payback happened in 1997 when Irvin would say...."We got beat bad man.....I ain't been beat that bad since my daddy."
Packers 45
Cowboys 17
Dorsey went for a buck 90 I think.
Ammo, I'm with ya. That was a dick move by the equally dickish Cokeboys coached by Jimmy Johnson at the time. Move along. We crushed their souls in 1997. This is a brand new season & multiple revisions of both teams. Leave it in the past.
Now........
Time to WHIP DAT ASS in Lambeau!!
8-0 Green Bay Packers vs 8-0 Dallas Cowboys (on the road)
Troy Aikman will be crying about something when this one is over.
Dallas is capable of playing much better than they did today. But if the Packers play their game, they will win. Can't count on a mistake-prone Romo anymore.
You're right. It was still Jimmy Johnsons team.
Eff them, Eff that team & EFF the Vikings for handing them 3 Super Bowl championships.
Yes, I'm ready for the Packers to prove who the best team in the NFL is.
Go Packers!

Eff Lindy Infante.
The officials also missed Dez Bryant running onto the field without his helmet on to argue the DPI that was mysteriously waived off after about 2 minutes. That running onto the field without a helmet is a 15 yard penalty.
