Hey - I 'resemble' those remarks.  This is one Ghost that is still kicking - subject to weekly updates - of course.

Depends on........The officials. Will they let the Dallas DB's go all Buffalo, or will they not? Only when they play the game will we know. Even then, if close late, I do not trust these scurvy officials.

I was rooting for Dallas today, really wanted that Packers/Cowboys matchup at Lambeau.

Can Dallas win?  Yes, but I am still pretty confident the Pack will figure out a way to beat these guys.  I don't think this Cowboys team is as strong as the 49ers team was last year that beat the Pack at Lambeau, and more importantly, this Packers team is stronger overall than last year's team was.  Having Peppers and Matthews on defense alone really makes this squad much stronger defensively.

Looking at that Dallas defense, I don't see any way they stop GB from doing what they want on offense

it'll come down to whether the defense can get enough stops early in the game for GB to get up big early. They do that, then they can pin their ears back and feast on Romo for an INT or 2 with Dallas having to throw it more to get back into it

Yeah, get up early, force Dallas to play catch up which will lead to Romo being Romo

Murray's been run into the ground by Dallas all year. Gotta wonder how much juice he has left. He didn't look all that explosive today

Lacy's taken way less wear and tear this season. I think he has the bigger impact on Sunday

Packers a better team. I see no below average starters, unlike in past years when Newhouse or M.D. were in there. The last below average starters, Hawk and Jones, should be told the game is in Dallas and have a limo pick them up and take them to the airport.

The health of AR and his ability to stay on the field is my only real concern. Packers are at home and the better team and it's a great opportunity for them to begin to turnaround their lackluster playoff record since winning the SB.

Agreed, m'joe.

I'm concerned about his leg strength being affected by the 'calf injury'. We have all laughed over the "here it comes!" on his QB sneak, but what caught my eye was it looked like that leg collapsed as he tried to plant and drive on it, and he almost didn't make it.

He should be better after rest and rehab, but I just hope it doesn't have too great an affect on his mobility. I think he can plant his leg for throwing with no real problems; he just can't drive off it.

At least we can have a week of hearing how good Dallas is and how they should be poised for the upset. GB seems to perform better it those type of games rather than when they are the prohibitive favorite. Mindset?

I want this game in the worst way.  I know it is 20 years ago but I want revenge for Jurko, for the time the Cowboys kicked that late FG that drove Reggie crazy, for all of the other times we lost down there, and because of the America's Team thing.  As for the ref thing I may be in the minority here but I think the NFL would be just as happy to have us there as the cowpies.

Besides winning the game, seeing sad jerruh always makes my day.

Another reason I want this one so badly oddly enough is Lambeau Field vs. Jerruh's world.  Lambeau to me is one of the very few stadiums left that doesn't have water falls, art galleries, or gourmet food.  We are a throwback and the anti glamour that is the Cowboys.  We are owned by US, we still sit on metal benches, we drink beer, and to me it is football.  Not the giant ego fest that is Dallas.  To me this is us vs. the Evil Empire.

watching the game I was indifferent to who won...  until they showed that box shot above.  then my loathing kicked in.  very much want to see and enjoy sad jerruh and all his flunkies next Sunday.

Watching Tate run through Dallas' secondary yesterday like it was a Friday walkthrough and all I could think of was, What is Cobb going to do to that secondary? And if good Davante shows up??? Detroit has no 3rd option at WR and road Stat Padford threw for 320 yards. Davante Adams is going to be open again, and again, and again, and again on Sunday.

I'm pretty fired up for this game to start.

Based on what I saw of the Cowboys this week, I think Eddie is going to have a big day both running and receiving. I'm really confused as to why the Lions seem to keep ignoring Theo Riddick until the very end of the game? Is it just to keep him fresh? He has a lot to offer as a receiver out of the backfield and I feel like when they gave him opportunities he did well. I also think Randall Cobb is going to have a nice day. Golden Taint would have had a much bigger day if the Lions could have protected Stafford and also Stafford was a decent QB.
