How can you guys forget about the ample sledding opportunities?

Long story short, growing up in a household where any kind of emotional outburst raised eyebrows or disdain, when Sharpe caught the winning TD, I jumped out of my dad's recliner causing it to bounce back and tip over backwards on the living room floor. I was 17 and I was not ashamed.
That's a great story. Good for you.

Hard to disagree with that. The ultimate what me and my brother call "risk/reward" game. Euphoria on crack if you beat your main rival, countered with devastation if you lose.
The thing people don't remember was the last regular season game that year in Lambeau to beat the Bears 10-3 to even make the playoffs. I was at that game and I can tell you there were not a lot of excited fans leaving the stadium that night. I think the feeling was that GB would get smoked in the playoffs.
Any chance we could activate B.J. Raji for Sunday? He played great against the Bears.

I was going to post this...
I remember being very confident vs. The Eagles.
Also after that 10-3 win.....one of the Packers (I forget who) said to the camera....."Ooohhhh.....you messed up now... You let us in the tournament!"
The Bears and Lovie tried everything to beat the Packers that day and keep them out of the playoffs. The players and coaches know who is dangerous. The Bears knew.....and they found out just how dangerous in the NFC Championship game after the Packers went into Atlanta and destroyed the #1 seed Failcons

I believe he left the window open when he "retired", so I don't see why not.
Now that the Packers are in, Donald Driver believes they can be a dangerous playoff opponent.
"Those guys told us during the game they didn't want us in," Driver said. "That tells you how much people are scared of us. They didn't want to see us, and now they've got to see us."

JUST WIN. oh, and if the Packers, dare I say loose, they’re out of playoffs right?? ♥️ 💚 💛

One final time, if the Packers lose as long as the Lions beat the Vikings, Panthers beat the Bucs, Cards beat the Seahawks the Packers are still in. By the Panthers winning that makes the winner of Atlanta and Saints the NFC South winner and the Bucs are out. However, if the Bucs win and the Saints beat the Falcons and the Packer lose, Saints are 7th seed and Packers go home. There are possibilities that the Packer can move up to the 6th seed.
Play around with this!!! https://www.espn.com/nfl/playoffs/machine
Thanks Ammo. With all those options I say we rest our starters for the bears game in preparation for the playoffs.
Nothing to do in GB?!?! I guess he's never heard of Bay Beach.
Or Kroll’s.
Fun bars to hang at....maybe hit Prime Quarter in Ashwaubenon....lots of things to do up there
Door County. FFS.
The Packers Hall of Fame.
Sleddin Hill, Red Lobster, Walmart, a second Walmart, the list goes on. Bet he feels foolish now.
Titletown, or go to the Resch Center, and have a "Carry The G" beer, or two. Cheesehead TV had Gathering Place Brewing, in Milwaukee, brew a beer for them. It's a cream ale, in 16 ounce cans, called "Carry The G." In liquor outlets it is sold in 4 packs for about $12/ 4 pack. It's a good beer. It is sold only in Wisconsin, in its first year of availability, and maybe it has reached the rest of the country, by now.

It's interesting one of the key words in that article is "inconsistency", and that's how I felt about that team going into the playoffs. They seemed to be up and down a lot which made me question how good they would be in the playoffs. The PHI game was more of the same but extinguishing the Mike Vick comeback parade short of a SB was still impressive. The game came down to that last throw to the EZ that was picked off.
This quote from Rodgers, considering how good that D was playing,
"We can't expect them to hold every team to three points," Rodgers said.
Who would've thought that would morph into "we can't expect to hold every team to less than 30 pts" for most of the rest of his time in GB.
Another newer place in GB is Prohibition Spirits and Cigar Lounge, if you like cigars. Here's the link: www.prohibitiongb.com.

Doofuss does not realize that 60% or more of the fans on game day come in from around the country. Its a bucket list thing for any sports fan and especially Packers fans. Show many any other fan base that is travels as well as Green Bay. Definetely not Chicago.

Absolutely. Have traveled from Western New York four times over the last 10 years to bring my kids to see the Pack play at Lambeau.
Denny's is very underrated. Great food but the waitress seemed a bit depressed.
Tiger Woods would beg to differ.

The Panthers aren't beating the Bucs, but I would guess the Lions are going to blow out the Vikings and it's fairly good odds that the Cards will beat the Seahawks in Arizona.
But, as you also say, the Packers can also get in after a loss if the Vikings, Seahawks, and Saints lose (even if the Bucs win). That's very possible.
But, just win and make it easy.

I was 14 when the Macol game happened and it is really the first strong memory of the Packers beating the Bears. As usual my Dad had us sit in the church balcony so we could sneak out and made us leave church early so we could be home in time for the game and and to get some things done at the farm. It is the first time as a young Packers fan I could remember everyone jumping around when that happened. My grandpa even snuck me a beer to celebrate.
Bears fans are ready. They are 100% confident the Bears will come into Lambeau and beat the Packers. Of course they do allow some reasoning that if they do lose it will only be because of the Refs and their well known bias for the Packers. Per their most recent comments, their whole team is better than the Packers including QB. (I don't think one GM in the league would take Fields over Love) They have a great WR in DJ and is better than anyone on the Packers roster but other than that I am not sure where they are better.
Moore has been a stud, but I like our chances if they put Jaire on him.
pulled this one from an article in Forbes talking about the Packers dominance over the bears.
But then he veers off the road trying to prop up the 2023 Bears
https://www.forbes.com/sites/s...ity/?sh=62b86baed85b
"Chicago ranks 12th in yards per game, but the Bears have been much better in the second half of the season. Instead of being a 7-9 team, the Bears would have a much better record if they had not blown three double-digit leads in the fourth quarter against the Broncos, Lions and Browns."
This is why Bill Parcells says, " You are what your record says you are"
If the bears were in fact a much better team, then they wouldn't have blown 3 double digit 4th Q leads. Duh.
TBSS
Sure hope we see the great mix of run and pass play calling that we saw in the Viking game, with all those LONG time-consuming drives, expertly done by Love.
Good column and I agree with his last point--we need Aaron Jones back in 2024
