Packers may have also gone with an all sports station, and one that has a very well built out streaming/app infrastructure in hopes of targeting a younger demographic. Other pro and college franchises have done similar the last 5 years, so this isn't completely unheard of.

Boris - I've actually had this same thought since Monday's news about DA. Despite what "fans" on this board think about EQ, it appears Rodgers likes the guy, his work ethic, and ability.  I referenced this in the thread about AR's "ownership of the TBSS" comments on the McAfee podcast.  AR specifically mentioned him by name and about EQ's ability.  I guess we'll see. I'm hoping AR completes passes to 9-10 different targets and they rush for 150-200 yards.

Yeah I don’t dislike EQ, I think he could be a really solid guy for us. He’s just frustrating at times because he makes easy mental mistakes…missing a block, dropping the ball, whatever. He’s big, he can catch, he’s athletic, he can be a legit #2/#3 option, he just needs put it all together. Great opportunity for him to make some money this week because he’s barreling toward free agency with an almost nonexistent resume.

I wonder how many of the reporters will migrate over.  Not that I've listened much for several years but I can't stand Masik or whatever his name is.

Wondering what this will do to the Packers Radio Network? Will the new station slide into the Network and keep the Packers broadcasts coming to us? Our local station, which is part of the Network, also carries the Brewers and Badger games. If only the Packers games are on the new station. will we be able to listen to the Brewers or Badger games, at all? Or even the Packers games, for that matter? More drama for those of us who are Wisconsin sports fans, in the boonies.

Bahk making the trip? Very unusual for a player who they wouldn’t intend on playing for a road game on TNF….unless ?? 🧐🧐🧐

I bet they want him to go through the pregame process as if he were playing tonight. Good practice for the real deal when he starts at KC next week.

Kind of like what Russ Wilson did for the Steelers game but way less douchey and look at me-ish.

Listened to TMJ milking cows, until they dipped the signal strength in the evening and you couldn't hear through the static anymore

I want to see the offense run 4 straight jet sweeps tomorrow.  One to the left, one to the right, one to the left and one to the left just to mix things up.

Surprised the news about Lazard isn't being discussed more

We also milked cows and worked in the barn listening to WTMJ. I probably heard Jim Irwin talk more than anybody in my life outside of my immediate relatives.

For anyone thinking MVS is milking or babying his hammy, doesn't sound like it. Sounds much more like the Packers notoriously conservative medical staff is what's holding him back...

So when the Packers curb-stomp the Tards tonight, they will have no excuses.

It's happening...

Lots of Cards fans here walking around like they've already won the super bowl.  They don't know what it's like to have a good team.

I think the media are probably being told they can't talk about it because of HIPPA.  Or not to risk it anyway.  Unless he brings it up.

I have a ton of great memories growing up on a farm listening to Jim Irwin call a game.  We didn't have to milk cows but would be out cutting wood, fixing fences, my Dad drinking warm Stroh's, and listening to the Packers on the radio.  Great memories except for the warm Stroh's part.

Did you watch 'countdown to kickoff' last night?
Kingsbury spoke like he was concerned.
That said, you had to put up with Ron Wolfley too.

More reporting saying MVS won’t be activated tonight

@AdamSchefter: Packers are not expected to activate Marquez Valdez-Scantling before tonight’s game vs. Arizona, giving him more time to recover from his hamstring injury, per source. So no Davante Adams, Allen Lazard nor MVS.

This guy's available and has a history of playing well in Phoenix. Fire up the jet.

He holds the NFL record for the most yards receiving on a single offensive drive in history (101 yards). Of course, over the rest of his 56 game career, he added another 245 yards.

So we are out:

  • Top 3 WR
  • Top 2 CB (King was a starter)
  • Top 2 OLB (Smith and Smith)
  • Starting LT
  • Starting C

That NINE fucking starters.

Damn, countdown to kickoff is a day before the game?

Kind of like a "Coaches Corner" type show.

The coach comes in studio with a local media guy and Howlin' Wolfley. They address the usual stuff, last game, next game, miked up vids etc.

Not just nine starters; we're out 4 of our 6 best players on the team.  Only two guys I'd put up with Adams, Bakh, Alexander, and Z Smith are Rodgers and Clark.  Impressive job by LeFleur to keep the team afloat.  Hope he can pull something out of his a** tonight.

This is a big reason why I've become less of an NFL fan over the years.  It's just so hard to allow yourself to get emotionally invested when health is such a huge factor.  Not sure how the league fixes this but I can't be the only person in this boat.
