Haven't heard of Moore being hurt so I assume it's a numbers game. That said, I am way more comfortable with Moore back there than Rodgers.
@packerboi posted:So if Myers plays at C, does Patrick slide to R guard? And Newman (who’s played very well the few weeks) the odd man out ?
I think the decision discussion looks like this:
The delta between Lucas Patrick/Josh Myers at Center is small
The delta between Patrick/Myers as the 1st guy off the bench at IOL is larger
So you'd probably give the lean to starting Myers and having Patrick as your super-sub in the playoffs.
Lions NT is a 3rd rd rookie, so it probably won't be a stiff test on Sunday.
Got it. Thanks... Apparently I can't keep up with this shit.

Andy Herman, who grades every player on every play, claims that Meyers is a significant upgrade over Patrick. I really like Herman, whose credibility IMHO is really boosted by having Mike Wahle, who typically confirms his grades and observations, on his podcast weekly.
@RoyalWulff posted:Are you Nucking Futts? Not everyone just gets over covid in a week. Remember the hell A.J. Dillon went through last year trying to get over it???
And some players are reporting performance issues after a bout of COVID.
The issue is Myers hasn't played a meaningful snap since wk06. If playing in DET is enough to reacclimate himself and the OL, great. But I wouldn't know.
@michiganjoe posted:MLF also apparently ruled out returner David Moore.
WTF is it with this team and special teams? If he had scored a TD on one of returns he would be cut.

If you guys don’t quit this shit imma sending Fedya over to your house with a handful of videos.

Meyers is a significant upgrade over Patrick. Patrick is a good depth/rotational guy, that's it.
A couple of legit hoggers at DT and the interior is not going to hold up.
Just got into Detroit for game. Does anyone have any suggestions on Packer tailgate options or anything else?

Courtyard on Jefferson. Having beers at Nemo’s. Great place. I miss the Midwest
From packers.com:
The Green Bay Packers have activated C/G Josh Myers off injured reserve, elevated DL Abdullah Anderson and LB La'Darius Hamilton from the practice squad to the active roster for gameday. General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced the transactions Saturday.
Myers (knee) has been added to the injury report with no game-status designation for tomorrow's contest against the Detroit Lions.

Steelers released Isaiah Buggs, fat body from Alabama. Play interior DL. Could add some experienced beef ( not that beef) to the defense, especially if Keke continues to be out.
Yes please, even just to kick the tires.

I'll take it. Even some scrubs with fresh motors may help.

I’m guessing it’s to fill the roster for tomorrow’s game for a few players who are dinged and won’t play tomorrow.

From the story: healthy scratch since week 11, has problems with alignment and assignment leading to inconsistent play.
Fit right in then. 😁

How can a big fat D line guy have problems with alignment. I can understand assignment. What could confuse him while lining up?
@ilcuqui posted:@TomSilverstein: #Packers coach Matt LaFleur said that T David Bakhtiari looked good in practice and they will see how he feels Saturday to see whether to play him. CB Jaire Alexander will not play, he said. He doesn't want to put him out there with just one day of practice.
LaFleur said that WR Randall Cobb will not play because they think two more weeks of rest will do him the most good. He did say that rookie C Josh Myers will play and didn't rule out him returning to the starting lineup when the playoffs start.
Latest update on Zadarius.
They will probably release the kraken with z in the playoffs - that’s one spot that you can mostly get plugged into and make some noise
True, especially with how they would use him. See QB - get QB.
