Today is the culmination of some suspect personnel decisions (losing Hayward and Hyde), some really suspect draft picks, and MM retaining and covering for some marginal coaches for too many years.

Its a lot of marginal talent playing for marginal coaches with no real plan or identity.

Packers have arrived at a place that was destined to happen because no one was really paying attention the past few years.

The reality is that all this falls directly on Murphy. So no, I’m not confident he’s going to do the right thing when it comes to the HC hiring.

I think you’re overanalyzing a shitty game that is shitty because it’s meaningless and the players don’t want to be there. I mean I don’t think you’re wrong, but I don’t think this game is really indicative of anything.

Or he has watched every play for the last couple of years.

is it reasonable to expect a drastic turn around or even a playoff spot next season ?

Sure, get some new coaching, and 20 or so new guys and heal up the walking dead and the sky's the limit.

They have great players at QB, WR, RB, and LT. They have enough to win with on offense

Jairie Alexander and Kenny Clark are keepers, but other than that almost the entire defense needs to be rebuilt. That is unlikely to happen in a year.

From the end of the 2017 season to the beginning of the 2018 season, GB turned over 51% of its roster.  During the 2018 season there was another 43% turnover.  Not sure where one transformation intersects the other.  But the antithesis of cohesion and being able to play as a team is roster turnover.  I realize a significant part of it is due to injuries.  But still, when fascination of the "new" supersedes what is important, bad things can happen.  I am not so sure that we haven't arrived at that point as a franchise.  This is a critical off season for the Pack.

I think it's indicative of being a mediocre team. The worst thing is being in the middle of the draft.

Case in point....Dolphins are 200-200 since the mid 90's. The definition of mediocre. The worst thing for your franchise is drafting in the middle of the draft year after year. The team rarely acquires a difference maker & they're stuck in mediocrity.

Why beat the Jets & Falcons after you tanked vs. the Cardinals?? Doesn't anyone remember what the Colts did to get Luck?

One thing, Kizer is doing what AR refuses to do: throw short to get results. It's also keeping the DL out of the backfield more. Then he takes his shot. I wonder if he's actually executing the game plan as called...

If the Packers played Alabama or Clemson right now I’m not sure they win.

Lol....I remember playing football during recess in fourth grade and having a serious discussion about whether or not the Packers could beat UW. That was early 80’s. I guess things have come full circle.

Another disappointment in a disappointing season. Other than his helmet fitting correctly, it doesn't appear that Kizer is much of an upgrade (if any) over Hundley.

He's goes through much less gum.
